Agree Hypno.
It's easy to tell yourself off and wake up every morning pick up a big bag of guilt (think that was Dr.Phil ) and crucify yourself for getting in this mess. Much easier to wake up and have a life ahead, can't change the past and all that.DC.

Yes, Ive read Louise Hay too. Perhaps I should get one of her books out ofmy book case again. The Secret is good in principle, but its ott in my view. Life just happens, and its not necessarily because someone thought negatively I dont think anyway. We live in an imperfect world, Im certain babies born in Africa didn't want to attract a life of poverty, people with disabilities didn't want to be disabled. It's just the way things go sometimes. The part of The Secret I do like is the power of thinking positively in an every day way, and I should have read your diary before I went a bit mad earlier today feeling anything but positive!!!! Slow, calm, deep intake of breath...
Had bump in car, everyone okay, minor scratches to cars, going to cost though. Just hoping it comes in at something reasonable.
Tea needed.DC.

Oh no .......... sorry to hear that DC xx.
I couldn't get into 'The Secret' either but have read dozens of self help books over the years.
Theoretically, I should be perfect by now, but I think my LBM is just occurring.I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.0 -
Hi Different Corner
So sorry to hear of the "bump". Hope the tea did the trick and you are feeling a bit better now. One self help book I particularly love is the Seven Strategies of Wealth, Health and Happiness by Jim Rohn. The Rich Man of Babylon is another good book. In fact as I detail them to you, I really need to read them again. Feel the fear and do it anyway by Susan Jeffries is fab, haven't read it for a while, and Get fired up by Jan Ruhe is also fantastic, she is in Network Marketing, but the principles she shares are about having a positive attitude. I must dig it out and read it myself! Anyway take care DF. xxMy debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

Hope you are ok after the bump.....be good to yourself over the next couple of days - even if no one is hurt, often it is several hours/days later that the shock sets in and emotion takes over.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Thanks peoples !
I'm a worrier. The car park bump was my fault, I reversed into a stationary vehicle. Limited vision. I know I'm going to have to shell out for a bumper scratch to their passenger door, my excess is high - lesson learnt there.
There's nothing I can do until I get the bill, so I'll have stop worrying.
I've started this morning by reading a little more Louise Hay, just to get the positivity flowing.
PAF, thanks for your recommendations, I just remembered I have Susan Jefferies tucked away somewhere, brand new and untouched.
Hypno, I'm glad it's the weekend, will be kind to me and mine. DS2 is incredibly bored stuck with arm in sling. Have I missed property !!!!!! ?
Off to catch up.DC.
