  • Hi, I purchase the O2 12 month contract sim on 1st Aug, i received the SIM on the 4th. My Quidco transaction hasn't tracked yet. If i go to "submit an earning enquiry" then i can see my O2 Transaction listed there. But i cannot summit a enquiry until 14day after the purchase. This is the same period of time i have to cancel the o2 contract.

I do not want to risk this not tracking. Was thinking could i try purchasing another sim through quidco and see if that tracks quicker. If it does i can then cancel my first sim? Or maybe i could purchase the second through topcashback?

Has anyone had experience of cancelling the contract with the first 14 days?

Just an update to the above. On friday i created a new 2nd quidco account, downloaded Firefox, cleared cookies and made a 2nd order for the o2 contract (under another o2 account). This tracked in my 2nd quidco account this morning with £118. The 1st quidco order has still not tracked. For the 1st order i called o2 and cancelled the contract without issue. Hopefully the second account with pay fully now.

So if you use IE as your main browser, download Firefox purely for quidco and tracking seems to work!

    Deleted_User,
I will also be canceling my order as I'm not going to risk it not tracking due to the need to contact them by phone previously described.

Can you advise what charges you have to pay on canceling, is it pro rata for the days you have had the contract or the number of minutes used?
  • Hi, just to let you know, mine has tracked at £100 today, was ordered on the 5th, hope that brings some hope.;)

I've requested my PAC code from vodafone, and I'm going to order this through quidco today! I hope the number change thing won't affect my cashback too.

I was just about to go for thsi when I opened a letter from Virgin Media for an offer they're making only to customers.

It's £8.50 pm for 100 xnet mins and 100 texts and £12.50 for 150 mins and 250 texts.

This offer also comes with a new Nokia 6303, 7100 or 6303.

Any thoughts on how this compares with the O2 offer?

    Many thanks.

No charges as i did not use the sim at all. I was billed a pro-rata amount, plus the next month amount, but this should be fully refunded.

    MiM,
this is horses for courses. I'm a VM customer but the O2 deal is far better as it has everything that i will use. The last thing that I want is another mobile phone- in reality, it's not free.
...and then the window licker said to me...
