Surely they can't expect people to use a temporary number for a few months while they wait for their cashback?0

Hi all, I have had 2 orders track on quidco for this: first was placed on 2/8 and tracked on 4/8, 2nd was placed on 3/8 and tracked on 5/8. I am new to quidco so do not know if this is normal or not.
Also do not know the impact of using a PAC code in terms of getting cashback however have just used mine earlier to port from o2 back onto o2 ie without needing to go through any form of pay-as-you-go. Was told it was ok by the o2 agent and that it would take 2 working days to be processed ie my old number should work on the new sim on monday.

It was supposed to finish on 3 August. If they have extended it, why not try going through Topcashback instead of Quidco for your additional purchase. They are offering £100 too. (However ordered mine through them and it has not tracked yet 7 days afterwards but they are generally pretty good)There are three ways to get something done; do it yourself, hire someone or forbid your kids to do it.0

Hi, I purchase the O2 12 month contract sim on 1st Aug, i received the SIM on the 4th. My Quidco transaction hasn't tracked yet. If i go to "submit an earning enquiry" then i can see my O2 Transaction listed there. But i cannot summit a enquiry until 14day after the purchase. This is the same period of time i have to cancel the o2 contract.
I do not want to risk this not tracking. Was thinking could i try purchasing another sim through quidco and see if that tracks quicker. If it does i can then cancel my first sim? Or maybe i could purchase the second through topcashback?
Has anyone had experience of cancelling the contract with the first 14 days?0 -
Just adding my experience so far, in case anyone is in the same position.
My o2 contract ended today and I'd ordered a new sim as a new customer on Monday. I called o2 today to transfer my number on to the new sim. I was put through to retentions who offered me a dongle to keep my account. I explained that I took out a new account for the cashback and that a dongle just wouldn't swing it!
She was fine with that and said that I'd be issued with a PAK code even though this is o2 to o2. That way the accounts stay separate, i.e. I become a new customer, however I lose my loyalty bonus (no discounts, it would seem - just the offer of a dongle!).
My order still hasn't tracked through Quidco, but o2 tell me that I am now considered a new customer, so there should be no problem with the cashback.
Hope that helps someone!0 -
Can anyone confirm this is still running?
It is still on Quidco at £100,but I know it was supposed to end on the 4th.
Had a look around quidco to see if I could have it confirmed but couldn't find anything to say it had ended
Thought about getting it for my DD and buying her a handset separately.0 -
In the side bar on Quidco it's now quoting the offer ends on the 10th:
O2 have increased cashback to £100 for a 12 month contract SIM Only. Ends midnight Monday 10th.0 -
