Well you'd be forgiven for not realising, they have only posted once. Like DevilsAvacado said (and it's also confirmed by MSE Dan on that thread), it's someone from the Yorkshire Bank Press Office.0

You won't get "proper" answers - if you get answers at all - from press officers.
MSE are shooting themselves in the foot if they choose to pursue such an avenue with regards to bankers posting here. Although I am sure no staff member of any bank - be it yourself, BarclaysManager or otherwise - would reveal information or procedures, confidential or otherwise, that would damage the company name etc., that sort of insight is lost when you turn it over to official representatives in the shape of press officers. For a place with such a clear pro-consumer stance, it's merely promoting the very systems that many consumers find frustrating or difficult to deal with, in the shape of bank complaints procedures etc.0 -

My comment was made with the knowledge of what they will do. I have dealt with a lot of bank people since I stopped working for the bank to get information which has been provided which has proven useful with regards to reclaiming bank charges(the usual board I am found on).
With respect, I leaked confidential information to someone I knew would pass it onto the press. In fact, I know the precise way I was located(it's marvellous what disciplinary notes and a SAR can do). In fact, what they got me for was quite innocuous leaking. I do understand your views with regards to officialdom. I don't think it is necessary on MSE for a bank rep.

What position did you hold in Natwest?0 -
......
...any explanation as to why why LTSB is the only bank, as far as I can see, which doesn't allow the input of a same day BACS transactions (I've given up all hope of a decent FP offering) would be a really good start0 -

I was your normal cashier but I knew how to use a google search and there were weaknesses in terms of what was available to branch staff0 -
Ooh - just make sure you don't hide your light too far under a bushel ....I look forward to some enlightening comments:j

Try working out how long to transfer £10k online - with no same day transactions, a £500 limit and no input of transaction 2 'til transaction 1 has gone- sorry but thats not a "decent FP" offering.
(even £600 takes 3 days & longer if you happen to put your first transaction in on Sunday afternoon )
With Natwest tranfering £10K or less is instant!:D0
