This thread is not and has never been AA, no-one has a problem with AA nor telling people to go there, but I personally think we've had enough of, is it or isn't it right for everyone.
It isn't, live with it.

beer the AA proram will work for anyone with a desire to stop drinking. who is willing to put the effort in.. i'd bet my house on it.

i think its the idea of going to meetings that isnt for everyone

Not all mormons are into polygamy - besides which 89 god lewt i need to meet a man with so much stamina:) My o/h says he could only ever put up with one of me. I have no idea why.:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

I know what sort of pain you are blocking out and I also know how it works. I have read alot of your posts, but I just don't have the time to go back and update myself, sorry.
Its easy to say you must stop drinking, yet you must, you have other problems and drinking alot will make it much worse
Take it one night, or day at a time, pm anyone off here if you need to speak to someone at any time. Normally someone is about.
If you need to talk to someone on the phone, there are people on here who will do that.

I can't tell you how to deal with the problems that make you want to stick your head in the ground (ie drink) but I know they have to be dealt with. I know you are getting support from the brighter side thread and thats great.

That and the praying and having to have a higher power, even if it is my pencil sharpener.
I am an individual, I have to be like that. I don't particularly like being in or labelled as things, I used to ride a bike alot, but I hated being called a biker.

I am different from everyone else, I like being like that. I do it my way and I don't push my way on anybody. Because I don't believe in doing that.
