Congratulations Al Mac. There is something special about some numbers, like 100 in cricket etc. 90 days or 3 months. This is one of these special numbers.
Again well done and keep it up one day at a time.

hi.....

there is a long version to my post but i think you would prefer the short version....

you lot no i dont do things by halves but wots happened in the last few days
is far to difficult to put into words...

home life has become unbearable and ive learnt that my sobriety MUST
come first.... or else there is no me anymore......

had to make a choice between home life & living itself ( wot a !!!!!! chioce hey)............. i decided the marriage was over and told mr ac :eek:

if things stayed the same.. i would eventually go back to the alcohol..
so my life as i no it is over anyway............

(yes this is the short version)

all cards have been put on the table..... told mr ac about AA &
tried to explain that alcohol is just the tip of the iceburg.. and
how i cant cope like this...... i need people that support and who try
to understand me else i cant fight this illness.........

HES FINALLY COME ROUND AND IS TRYING TO UNDERSTAND &
TRYING TO ACCEPT MY ALCOHOLISM & ILLNESS

ive mentioned al-non to him and hes said 'if you think it will help i
will go... i will do anything not to thro the last 13yrs away.. just one more chance ' :eek: ... he says hes sorry he has let me down and truth be
known he was ashamed of me ( as if i didnt no)
he also agreed togo back to the GP re his anger management

last night we sat round the kitchen table.... me reading to him from
AA articles..... :eek: :eek:

hes made me promise that ive got to talk to him and not bottle stuff up
from now on............ :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
and if i have a problem ive got to let it out :rolleyes:
