Hi Twopints, just pleased that the thread has helped you. It's not just about the money saved though, the health benefits are even better ;)

I'm pleased your sleep's improved Al, mine hasn't really :o but then I never slept well in hot weather regardless of how much I drank
You're a good inspiration though ;) I'm busy trying to make sure I stay ahead of you :D

Lousy sleep last night. Obviously spoke to soon. Felt the most insecure I've felt in a long time. Are the two connected, lightbuld moment:confused:

Hi Shaz.Just like too let you know how my son,s wife coped with his out of control drinking.Knowing that i,m a recovering alcoholic,"now sober for over 5 years"she asked me to have word with him.So I mentioned about him coming too AA meeting with me and as usual with folk with drink problems he said he didnt have problem. This went on until his wife couldnt stand it anymore and she throw all his clothes out into garden when he was at work and changed locks. Now i dont know if it was coincidence but it rained before he got home and next thing he was at my door with car load of soaked clothes. He then admitted he did have drink problem and it was even worse than I thought. He then asked me too help and take him too AA which i was glad too do.He is now back with his wife and he will be sober 2 years come November. They have now got a lovely new house in country and he said he has never been so happy and how glad he went too AA along with me.So you see things can turn around but biggest change must come from him as you have done nothing wrong although he might say so, ie,you telling him too stop smoking hash.If he hadnt what would next step be,coke, heroin you will never know.So just hope it works out for you and your child as its not pleasant living with an alcoholic
PS Should have said an alcoholic who is still drinking,Sorry

    Could be.

Started to tell Mrs Mac a bit more, recently.

Been telling her when I find a situation difficult:o You know the sort of time Mr V used to help out;)

    For the Sunday girls:cool:

    Morning Has Broken

Morning has broken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for the springing fresh from the world

Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven
Like the first dewfall, on the first grass
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where his feet pass

Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play
Praise with elation, praise every morning
God's recreation of the new day
