I ordered everything on Wednesday evening between 9:30 PM and 11PM and everything was delivered ...
You need to get your order in very early, the day of the instore sale is too late ...
Next time, make your order before 11PM on the Wednesday night and you'll have more luck (just be sure the red sale prices are showing in your basket for all items) ...

Or not, in my case. I really don't think it's as logical as this, sadly.0

Well, they have taken the payment for my entire order but it isn't showing on the website as despatched and I haven't received an email to tell me about it being despatched. I hope this means I will be getting all the items they have charged me for.MFIT No. 810

The order I placed before 10:30pm on Wed is still 'not yet dispatched' and the order I placed Thurs morning was dispatched a couple of days ago.
I think it really does depend on the types of items ordered together in one order number.
If you have an order of ALL Menswear or All Womenswear in one it will be despatched easily. Another order with mixed Homewear, Kidswear, Menswear is going to take longer to put all the pieces together for despatch - especially if the fulfilment centre is spread over three warehouse sites 70 miles apart ...
Suppose the order picking team is short-staffed in kidswear don't you think it will hold things up?
So take that into consideration when making your orders up in your basket...and get your order(s) in early.

Not in mycase either, i placed my order with all 'red sale prices' at 22:50 on Weds and i have heard nothing apart from the original e-mail saying items due to be delivered 24-28th july, but no dispach e-mail!?!?!0

Yes it does. Here is a scenario:
There is 1 of a specific item in the warehouse today but 2 of them yesterday. The web site uses a database that contains yesterday's warehouse stock levels. The sale starts with the website database containing 2 items in stock (when there is only 1 in the warehouse). You and 2 other people then put the same item in the basket. Person A purchases shortly followed by Person B causing the item to be removed from your basket because according the website database there is no more stock. Makes sense??
 -Person A receives their delivery
-Person B gets an Out of stock email because there was actually only 1 available
-You don't get anything because the item was removed from your basket as the others ordered before you did.
 exactly!
And it's far worse in the sale when it gets crazy busy ...0

Checked my bank account this morning:
Order 1 for 16 items @ £88 (originally 22 items @ £110) has been despatched and paid for despite the person I spoke to at M&S on Friday evening telling me that only 5 items were in stock. It's reached the depot so should be delivered today. As M&S have charged me for 16 items I expect to received all 16.
Order 2 for 3 items @ £35 (originally 5 items £55) has not been despatched but has been paid for. I was told on phone that only 2 items were available.
Of the 27 items I ordered it looks like:
 19 will be delivered.
 1 was cancelled by me
 7 are out of stock
Now, how come I've only been sent 2 emails informing me of 2 products that were out of stock? M&S have broken their availability T&C:
However, they have accepted my orders totalling 24 items by despatching.AvailabilityAll items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available by emailing you.
I wonder how they can explain the missing items that they have accepted my order for and broken their T&Cs?0
