Can you believe I am STILL waiting for my order that I ordered on sale day?
They say they were sent by Royal Mail on 31/7 and I should have received them by 11/8. Well they never arrived. £200+ worth of goods.
I am guessing they either never despatched them or they've got lost.
    I'm not happy. :(

  • Like clutterfree, waited until 29th July before they (so say) despatched my parcel - still no sign.

Phoned last Friday to check and she said wait til Tuesday (but forgot and will phone later today). She said if it hasn't arrived by then we'd have to assume it was lost and reorder things - guess what though....nothing left in stock...surprised NOT. Don't think they ever even posted anything myself. Grrr
If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:
  • Just called and instantly offered refund (as no items available now). Have held off till Sat just in case before cancelling but, although probably futile, have got address to complain to as really feel that to not offer any means of tracking through royal mail is pathetic. Dont they want to trace a lost parcel?????

The only way to send something 'trackable' with rm is special delivery which is pricey,
recorded delivery is just requires signing for and is not trackable until it is signed for and then it only tells you its been delivered! (and not always to who its supposed to be i have found!!).
Having worked for a few places that dispatch with Rm, you would be surprised by the huge amount that goes 'missing', even being able to track a parcel doesn't mean it will be delivered unforunately.
  • I ordered on the first evening of the sale and my order arrived yesterday. I too had given up hope!
  • I had email to say they were dispatching an item. 10 days later I phoned to say it hadn't been received. I was told that it was a system error and that nothing had actually been dispatched, even though they had taken my money for it!
I asked to make a formal complaint and he put me through to their recorded survey to rate my tel experience - naturally I gave hiim the worst score possible

Well apparently my order left their warehouse but got lost on its way to the depot!
    Getting a refund.
So after placing an order for around £700 in total, by the time I have done my returns, and been refunded for the lost parcel, I spent a grand total of £19 for one skirt!!!
If they dare charge me P+P for it there will be trouble.
What a waste of a couple of hours ordering in the sale.
Will I learn? Probably not and no doubt I will try again by the time the next sale comes around.

Re tracking: if they use HDN (Home Delivery Network), it IS trackable.
    HTH

  • I had this problem with an order. After several pointless email exchanges I phoned up and when I got !!!!!! (mentioned Beckett v b&q) was put through to escalations. Was then treated really well and they bent over backwards to put things right. Cancelled item has now been dispatched and is due in the morning.

They pride themselves in customer service so give them a push and they do the best they can.
