ARE THESE 500 POINT DEALS BEING TAKEN OFF THE SHELVES?
Just been into Tesco Castle Lane East, Bournemouth. It is a mega-huge store and yet they had hardly any of the 500 points fragrance deals, the cheapest was £18.00.

Probably sold out because everybody has read about it on MSE :T

Same here, went to Tesco Extra in Nottingham and not even the space where the bottles used to be!!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

They had moved them from the normal shelf within the pharmacy aisles to behind the pharmacy counter in our local one.

Haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere but there are 400 bonus points when you buy a set of Diamond Boutique underwear at the moment. The bra's go up to a 38DD and knickers/thongs up to an 18 I believe. Nice quality items, made by Ultimo. Prices are £14-16 for a bra and £7-8 for matching knicks. Nice stuff, had black, blue, pink and white sets in the 2 stores I looked in.

Can anyone help me? I got a clubcard plus card in the post today which I have setup with a £1 a month direct debit. I was under the opinion you could top the card up at customer services and use the card but as it did not mention in the documents you could do this i rang up. I was advised by someone on the telephone that you can top up at customer services but it can take 48 hours to appear on your account. Is this correct?

I think if you hand over cash at the customer services then it tops up immediately.

Other ways of topping up. You can keep a few quid in the meagre interest internet savings account, and then go online and transfer cash from one to the other. That happens immediately even at weekends. They also do the Faster Payments system, so you can transfer money from your bank (online) into Tesco account and it is there within minutes.

Yes- I have a clubcard plus- as explained above- it does go on automatically as when you pay by cash, the money immediatly goes into the account- thats been the main way I have been using it so can definetly vouch for that! (I am not allowed to have an overdraft facility on it)

Actually you can have an overdraft! If there is £5 for example on the card, and you purchase £15 of shopping, it will go through. However, you will need to top it up before you can use it again.
