Hi peeps, not much happening here at the mo, kids all back at school so just getting on with the normal housework and helping DH with his business. Managed to switch our elec supply and the old one rang today, I wondered why the last dd hadnt been taken out and they want most of it now!!! Anyway managed to get them to take out one payment tomorrow, and told them the bill was estimated so I am now awaiting a revised bill less what Im paying tomorrow, still will owe a bit, but at least its a bit of breathing space. New co are sending out an electric monitor so I can see where its going. (meter is still stuck btw) I will watch it closely this week, think it must be something to do with the clocks changing and it got stuck on night, I will have to call them to check it.

Hi folks sorry have been mia for a while. Workwise has been busy so Ive been helping OH we had to view a few jobs and have just been busy doing them. Finished for today and OH has gone off to sign a van this afternoon, spent the morning getting it all cut etc etc. Only one more week for DD in school DS1 has exams and finishes end of June same for DS2 (without the exams). Weather has been pants and tbh sick of it being broadcast everywhere else is lovely. Today is windy and warm and the sun has only put in an appearance once for about 5mins, sickening!!!
Moneywise interest was put on the loan last week so I must update that and my elec monitor arrived yesterday so everyone has been obsessed with it, kids cos they hate it, me cos it proves what Ive been saying all along, we are wasteful. Elec bill is getting sorted and have made some payments toward the biggy bill, hopefully we'll get more sorted now, and the meter has righted itself, think it just gets a brainstorm after the clocks have changed :rotfl: Hope everyone is ok Im off for a catch up on the diaries while I have a minute.

Been doing my sums again! and although we should be better off with the big eleccy bill we probably wont be, hopefully this will get sorted next month. Why is it when you think youre getting there youre really not its so slow sometimes this debtbusting.:(

Had a letter from the mortgage co yesterday, they are changing the way they operate their accounts, which is good news instead of charging the interest annually it will now be on a daily balance so in effect should be better for us, watch this space. Just paid a bit extra off the loan and have to make another payment to the leccy in a bit.
All ok DD has voted for the first time today in this fiscal treaty business, crazy how she gets a vote but we dont. Apparently you have to be citizens (which were not) but because she turned 18 here she gets the vote!!! Mad.
DS2 of today because his school is closed for the referendum. So instead of him having a lie in he was up even earlier and is now watching carp on tele!!
Off to sort out ned and ducks etc etc. Have a good day hope the sun in shining it is TRYING its best to come out here!

Busy as usual here. DS1 is doing his Junior cert so hours are hit and miss with the bus some days he's only in for half days etc.
DD has already finished school and is working tomorrow and Sunday its her birthday on Friday 19!!! DS2 in school until 26th.
Animals all ok except for the ducks, have a prob with 2 drakes fighting over hens so the more aggresive one has been moved in with the hens, better than the other option! IYKWIM but as DS2 has named him its the only option. Ned is fine and enjoying the sunshine today and lots of fresh grass. Cat has been fighting so has two loads of sudocrem on above both eyes and now looks like a panda (animals are more prob than kids):rotfl:
DH has been busy doing outside jobs, ie boiler house and plastering the porch so looking good, Im just being the chief cook for him and his mate and cleaning up all the b****y mess, still it will be worth it in the end. Midgies are mad today Ive been bitten to bits too!

Hi folks not been around recently due to loss of internet, so the latest is the only place for signal is in this god awful caravan, which is falling apart and is just horrible, full of rubbish and not very nice. OH is mad as he has to design stuff at the house and then come up here to email and bill etc, so its constantly in and out and the weather isnt helping. Hope everyone is ok and we are now thinking of building a decent office up here to cope. Watch this space all very stressful. Will update when I can, hope the summer is going ok for everyone.
