Hi folks we got the car back last night thank goodness the part was ok from the breakers and mechanic was v reasonable. The works machine is up in Craigavon as we speak and hopefully all will be ok, havent heard otherwise so fingers etc all crossed. A friend of ours got a good deal with An Phost so it got taken up and we are just waiting to hear.
Ive been really good today done washing etc and made cottage pie for tea, no pud as short of icing sugar etc etc, need to go shopping, so will organise a list later. Diet not going well (found some ginernut biccs) :mad:

Hi Peeps, machine is up and running again, so far so good. DDs car had an oil leak so that is now with the mechanic (think were keeping him atm) Had a horrendous eleccy bill so have switched suppliers and will hopefully find the money!!!! Noticed today that my elec night meter is stuck on night(hmm) will keep quiet about that and make the most of for now DS2 is off home with a rotten cold and weather has turned very showery today. Got given a huge dog basket by a neighbour who's doggy died recently. Gave it a good scrub in the bath with some washing powder (im cream crackered now) its come up like new and she's loving it. :T

Sorry to hear about your electric bill. Do you have many supplier options. Its just NIE here and I think there may be another though haven't checked it out. Do you have the option of paying monthly?

Hi Turfy, been MIA as t'internet and phones have been down. Hope doggy is still enjoying basket and Ned isn't too soggy. Boo to DDs car, hope it gets fixed soon.

Morning folks ds1 better now and dd now in bed with the horrible cold, never rains does it. Weather has been carp last couple of days but looks better today. Shopping and banking today and then a couple of jobs to sort with DH, we got a big job done yesterday despite the weather so onward and upward almost there with his cc for the business so we'll keep plugging away, machine working better than ever so perhaps a blessing in disguise it getting broken.:rotfl:

DH managed to get a lot done yesteday afternoon at home. Wiring for the porch almost done and he was organising pipes for the boiler house most of the evening, still needs some new connections but hey we may have heating for next winter :T

Today a few jobs to do here and more sign work to get through weather looks dry at least today so will get some washing out once the kids are on their way to school. Ned is calling :rotfl: glad our nearest neighbours are at least a mile away!!
