    Hi Turfy

What a beautiful day:):):) Great to see it. I am sure you are finding plenty of work to do around the place like myself.

Glad to hear you survived the visitors, hard work running after everyone else. Have you planted anything yet?

Morning peeps, the sun is doing its utmost to break through the mist this morning, Im sure its going to be another gorgeous day again. I have planted some onions and today Im going to get some tomato seeds planted up, have been meaning to do it for a couple of weeks now but with the "royal visit" it got put on the backburner.
Spoke with my aunty in the states last night which was lovely to catch up and enjoyed lasagne for tea, got a bit fed up with the roast at this stage and the weather was just too nice to be stuck in the kitchen. Must make some cake today and biccies as the locusts have been in!!
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine.:j

Had a busy couple of days, all the seeds are now planted and enjoying the sunshine in the conservatory. Chooks have been cleaned out and mums taxi will be on the go in 15 mins. Have a parent teacher meeting tonight for DS1 he did very well in his mocks so just see what they have to say. DH has more work in and is currently helping out a friend (wedged in a small bathroom) he's not happy as weather is absolutely gorgeous and there is so much he could be doing here, but his friend will come up and help him here next week, so its all good.
My friend and her son are coming over next Wednesday for Easter so that will be nice to catch up, and an easy visitor (she really gets stuck in). Hope youre all enjoying the sunshine.

    Hiya Turfy
The weather has been superb hasn't it. Unbelievable. Cooler today though. All the oldies are talking about the summer being over :):):) Good to hear all going well for you and that you have a good friend coming to visit. We are heading to England over Easter and am really looking forward to the break. Hows Ned. Bet he's loving the sun on his back.

Morning everyone the sun is shining here but it is ever so cold, dont know whats going on suncream last week woollies back on this week!! My friend is arriving today with her son for a week so I will be frantically cleaning again, she is bringing with her new belts for my dyson (thank goodness, Im sick of trying to do a decent job with a brush at this stage) . Went shopping and banking yesterday dd has 2 driving lessons today ahead of her test which is tomorrow morning  Not really sure how she will get on depends on nerves I suppose. Have put a few extra euro off the loan and hopefully will do this every week plus a bit into savings so I have some back up if needed.
Enjoy the easter break peeps dont know if I'll get on much in the coming week.:)

    Hi Turfy

Hope all went well with DD. Its so expensive for them to try and get their license. My oldest passed his theory recently and is biting at the bit to do the final test. Needs help from bank of Mam and Dad!!!
Hope Ned well. I think of him when I hear the one on a neighbouring hill saying good morning. :):):) There is a rooster too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am up before them so it doesn't wake me up.

Have a lovely weekend with your friend and enjoy the hoovering or should I say dysoning.:):) I am heading to England today for a week so am really looking forward to that. See a bit of footie :):)

Well yet another expensive week, car trouble yet again. The week began with OH dropping a big roll of vinyl on his machine, not good so no more signs till its fixed!! Then we decide to take said machine to the north to be fixed so checked out the car tyres only to find wheel bearing gone, bough new one, took to the mechanic who said nope not wheel bearing but hub too. So have now got our money back on the part and sourced a new one from a breakers!!!!! Not sure where all this will end, but managed to pay DD's car off so at least we have that and have to sort out insurance etc today!! She failed test btw so no joy there either. At this point we are debating keeping the car is swapping for a van so dont know yet. If we swap we wont have a decent family car to go anywhere in together, so will have to do some decision making. I HATE cars at this stage.
Back to school today so the early start has been horrid hope all is well with you all.
