Looks like its going to be a lovely day, cold but nice. Washing in, and banking done, off for a cuppa and make the sarnies, then perhaps some cleaning (oh I hate it) have to make a start the royal visit (outlaws) is coming next weekend, deep joy.:(

Glad Im not the only one, mine decides to clean the bathroom at 11PM!!!!!! and bring her pinny! nightmare, FIL just sits and likes to be waited on, UM not in this house matey lol;)

I have begun the general tidy up and de-clutter which is badly needed ahead of the "Royal Outlaws Visit" this weekend. Jobs done include, clean out fishtank, and bearded dragon tank, done. Clear and declutter porch, done. A bit of sewing needed on the bed settee, done. General clear out of utility room, done. All the usual jobs done too so I feel very industrious today, if a little pooped by now. DH working late so just had left over cottage pie from yesterday and will settle down to watch some tv. More jobs tomorrow, washing etc and more general clearing up after the rabble, that is my Family, dont you just luv em.:rotfl:

Im glad I paced myself for the upcoming visit. Got some much needed painting done yesterday and have some more to do in DD's room (which she wil have to share with SIL) but of course I am still waiting to even get in there!!!!!! Like a nuclear fall out area STILL. So she WILL be cleaning it when she gets in so that tomorrow I can touch up where needed (which is probably most of the room) :eek:

Today got loads of washing done but of course rain has now set in so it will have to go in the TD (hate using that not very MSE) Did a sign job with dh and he got paid, all good stuff. have yet more cooking and cleaning to be getting on with, so dont know how I even had the time to post. :rotfl: Till tomorrow folks.

Well I survived the visit (Just). They arrived lunchtime on mothers day (very convenient) so I was like a mad woman cleaning the floors etc before they arrived. Sunday was ok and DH cooked a lovely pork dinner and I made an apple and blackberry crumble with ice cream, so they were all full to bursting point and tired so that was ok. Monday was SIL,s birthday and kids were off as paddys day fell on the saturday so that was ok too and I made home made pizza and birthday cake etc. Tuesday a long walk in the national park followed by lunch (which was their treat) nice, picky tea on Tues night and then they were off yesterday tea time for a late flight. Im glad tbh as it was very noisy as they all try to outdo each other etc etc atmosphere was very different from usual, but still its over and done with now so perhaps another 12 months till the next time. Enjoying my free day, have just caught up on my soaps and generally slobbed about today, off for a catch up on all the diaries.:beer:
