Know how you feel Turfy...called youngest big son for an hour before he surfaced at 11.45. He has since spent time messing about and eventually going to eat something then do some 'study'. I spend my life telling that lad to do a bit of work. It will all pay off in the long run but I'll be 'done' by the time I've reared them

Sun is shining here at the mo. Ive done outside jobs including mucking out Ned who was really a***y this morning, pulling me around wanting to do his own thing and not go into the paddock, anyway he has been bribed in there and there he will stay until this evening! Car (crossed everything) is so far going ok and we have a smallish bill for the mechanic, got the part for €165 which included the courier to get it here, so Im quite a happy bunny at the mo. DD has gone to work and DS1 and 2 are watching top gear (for a change)
DH spent the night with yet another mate who is heading for OZ but only for 12 months but any excuse for a night out with the boys. I guess they will always be small boys!;) Got a piece of pork out of the freezer yesterday but now its defrosted doesnt look up to much and might only be any use for the dog! Might be a change of plan, shepherds pie or lasagne now on the menu :rotfl:

Hi turfy, I'm back briefly, careful on how much I'm using my arm, but glad to see you're doing okay - sorry the gas ran out on the pancakes tho! Spiffy idea too2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi turfy
Sorry to hear your gas ran out. Used to happen to my mam when I was a kid and since we didn't have a car we had to wait until a relative delivered one to us. When we were building here we intended to put in a gas hob and she kept telling us not too and we didn't. Gas is easier to use as we have one of those electric flat plate hobs but it does the job. Hope you get sorted today. Pancakes on menu here this evening too. Bought an apple tree in tesco the other day, need to plant it now though the thought of trying to get to the spot I want through a farmyard is not very appealing. Wheres the wellies:P):)

A bit fed up today had a bit of a row with DH night before last and got all tearful (which is unusual for me) and it just continued all day. Feeling better today, he went fishing with his mate which was organised anyway and tbh it was good he was away yesterday afternoon and last night as I just caught up on lost sleep and today dont look so doe eyed. As usual stress brings it on and it will blow over Im sure.
It rained last night but looks as though its going to clear up, may head off to the shops this morning. Hope all is well with everyone in DF land.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. Loan 2 €29,590 now €0 as of 22/02/2016 Mgage €55000/ €23,639 at 01/02/18
