Leccy blanket was wonderful, helps that it now fits the bed and is warm right to the edges, one very happy bunny so can highly recommend Homfront fleecy one. All off to school, washing done, sun is shining and I have an appointment for a haircut at 11 in desperate need at this stage. So need to sort out animals grab a quick shower and off to be sheared.:rotfl:

After some dreadful weather the past few days, one part of our track is such a mess. Ive phoned the forestry who "may" call me back, the result is now my hands are so sore with arthritis and my back is hurting after trying my best to drain off some of the water and fill some very bad holes. Dont know why I even try, we really need heavy machinery. DH is busy working around 40 mins away so he really doesnt have the time and its dark when he gets in. Managing to get up and down in the little car but ever so carefully, went shopping today and have to take DD for her driving lesson at 6. The test is tomorrow, please send positive vibes peeps and fingers crossed etc etc. Im even going to pray tonight!!:rotfl:

She Passed!!!! Im so delighted to say its wonderful. Although DH has worried most of Saturday as she was out and about of course with her boyfriend. Sunday she took herself to work (first Sunday I havent been up at 8am for around 3 yrs) and he just had to call her around 6 to make sure she was coming home It was funny but I can understand his worry, she did put the car in the drain on the first outing and had to be pulled out!!!!:eek: Anyway all is well and theyve all gone off to work/school so peace at last. Hope everone had a good weekend.

Sorry folks been MIA for a few weeks, Internet got a bit crappy and fingers are too fat to use the phone for posting!!:rotfl: Had a nice time with friends over the half term and then went up to Clare to visit some friends over that weekend. Last weekend up in Dublin to see John Bishop really good show and all paid for up front so to speak! Feels good not to have a bill to come back to. DH is busy putting some decking down at the mo, cant help feel that it would be better to buy some oil but you know how these men are. As long as he's happy and has some work to do Im happy too. Hope everyone is well in moneysaving land.

Had a mixed week really this week. DD's car has been at the garage needs plugs and ht leads so hopefully we'll be getting that back today. Man from the forestry came about the road yesterday and it turned out to be someone we met a few years back who was cutting trees for them back then and is now a foreman. He is going to send a machine a couple of men and some gravel to sort out the damage that was done in the last heavy rain.:T It really doesnt help our cars all these b****y potholes etc. DH is a bit down as work has slowed up, but Im trying to stay positive and get a little organised for christmas, might make some mince pies this weekend. Moneywise things are a bit tight but has been an expensive month, trip to dublin and new shoes for the youngest, car probs etc etc, same old same old. Hope everyone has a good weekend, very frosty here today but no sunshine just yet, fingers crossed.
