    Hi Turfy

Its very sad when someone emigrates. I have had 2 good friends head to the States for good. One I haven't seen in 10 years. So I know how you feel.

Its nice to have another there for a few more days. Have you any child minding these days?

Wasn't the weather horrendous. I am fortunate I live on a hill.

    take care

Well Im still here and survived the week! Friends left yesterday and its bank holiday here today. Weather not brill but not cold. Im trying to get the kids to do jobs today as certain bedrooms are resembling a war zone IYKWIM!!!! Anyway its half term here this week so hopefully will knock the troops into action and get rid of some rubbish. Took some books to a second hand shop on Saturday and got €20 for them, bought DS2 some badly need new runners and socks and then bought some groceries with the balance, great result, think I'll find some more books about the place this week that can go too.
On the money front we have decided to get rid of DHs cc that was kindly borrowed by a mate and he has been struggling to get rid of. So to make things easier were going to concentrate on getting shut of that, he has been accepted for a business cc that has a dd on which takes the full amount each month that you owe, so we cant get into debt on it and it allows him to get supplies and gives a few weeks grace for him to get paid so hopefully that will work out well. Once thats sorted were going to concentrate on the one loan we have left and then I suppose its mortgage, so no chance of me being DF by 50 so perhaps I'll change that so sometime whenever :rotfl:

I love it when people find new initiatives to raise money! And you decluttered as well!

Glad the friends staying went well - good luck in the war zone :)
