DD's night out went well and she wasnt sick or hungover (very sensible) not at all like her mother!!! Well not at that age anyway.;)

Sun shine out today and washing out DD taken to work and outside jobs done, only chooks to do now. Have a good day everyone.

Beautiful day here today washing in and last day of scool for DS2 he's only in half day so is delighted. Not too much to report really business going good and more work has just come in, so all good. Almost at the end of the month with no main worries except for car which is being serviced tonight.
Ned has just developed a sore foot since yesterday and its difficult to see whats wrong as he doesnt want me to look IYKWIM I'll have to see how things are today, he wasnt best pleased as we put him in the stable for the night hopefully the rest will have helped.

Neds sore foot seemed to clear up as quick as it came, so he has been in top form. His previous owner came to see how he was settling in on Wednesday evening and said his condition looked great and he could see an improvement all round :T I was delighted and took the compliment, the daily grooming seems to be paying off.

Just back from 2 nights away at friends, that was nice to catch up and nicer to be hom IYKWIM.. They are much younger and have one young toddler and another on the way. They are carp with money and wonder why with loans and weddings and honeymoon to be paid for. I suppose another generation of dfw's on the way :eek:

Good for you! How lovely Ned is positively perking up already ... and a nice time away, as well. I think people are still just spending without realising. I have a nephew who rents in a *very* posh part of London, but paying those rents its impossible to save. Much better idea to rent somewhere pleasant, not crazy, and be able to take charge of your own life ...

Had a mad crazy couple of weeks. Firstly DD and her pal went up to a music festival Oxygen which I guess is the glastonbury equivalent. All was well but she managed to fall asleep in the sun (god knows weve seen little of that lately) and get 2nd degree burns on her arms!!!:eek: So Ive spent the week being nurse to her. Then Neds sore foot returned but worse so I called the vet who managed to drain an abscess, so all healed now and he's back to his usual cheeky self.

Weve had real trouble with the internet lately as the signal seems to be very erratic, so Dh has ordered a new outdoor aerial which were hoping will solve the prob. Fingers crossed, its arrived today so hopefully we'll get sorted this week.

Were also off to Wales next week to visit the family, only going for a week this time, as the animals need to be sorted and getting someone to do it for a week is preferable to longer.

After much swearing and moving of aerials, we finally have a decent broadband connection, thank goodness, I couldnt stand another night of what a waste of money and why do we live in such a carp place etc etc etc. So needless to say Im delighted. Moneywise tight as trip has been paid for in advance (how weve changed) so just need to be extra careful. Hope everyone is getting better weather now.
