NO internet since friday thanks to kids downloading films over the easter break all our usage gone, so everyone had to do without until today!!! That will NOT be happening again anytime soon!!! 15 gig apparently all gone in one month that is LOADS!

Anyway banking done and had to borrow from savings as the money went to the concrete No savings left now, so hopefully we can claw back now and OH has been paid from a couple of jobs and has some more work in the pipeline so onward and upward. Hope the weather is better with you all although today did manage to get all the recycling done and the shopping without getting soaked.:T

Have been MIA for a bit now so need to give you an update.

Paths all down and lovely, porch has been re-built (no windows or door yet) roof has been felt and battened so at least there is no more rain pouring in through the kitchen door. The outside has been kind of plastered first coat and then waiting for the second coat now. Problem is now the weather and the plasterer is off to Oz on tuesday so was officially finished today!!! Athough nothing got done today as we had the most horrendous storm overnight and into this afternoon. Coal bunker and benches ended up overturned etc etc. so we are now money down and still not finished so Im trying really hard to be a happy bunny IYKWIM

Did get statement from visa showing NIL :T:T

Loan 1 next on the hit list. Hope everyone is well and enjoying what seems to be our summer (hope not) more rain.

No poor old ned has had to wait a bit longer, we have managed to get the stable sorted and now have some logs to get sawn up as they would be in the way. Have done the fencing but not bought the fencer yet (money issue again) all funds have gone on building but hopefully he will be here very soon, I cant wait.

Had a good night out at friends and watched the champions league. Not impressed by my beloved United as they played dreadfully.

Very windy here today and looks as though its rained in the night.

debtwise going ok but the money for the internet is coming out tomorrow €94 yikes, so that didnt help the budget especially with all the expense of the plastering etc etc. Anyway we will get through to Thursday when OH gets hopefully paid, thats the part I hate about self employment. The business is going ok and we have a lot of work to get through this week so I guess we'll keep plodding.

Loan 1 will be below €1000 in June so its all good really, dont think we can afford to visit back home this year, but still keeping OH motivated with the house and getting the outside looking good is important. Also we are getting some ducks in the next couple of weeks.
Pork chops for dinner with apple crumble and cleaning out the chooks on the agenda for today. Have a good day everyone.

Glad you have the ducks (and their eggs!) but what about Ned? Sob ..... I think you're right about your priorities, keeping energy going to establish your home has *got* to be important, everyone's happier all round :)
