My word ... just catching up, I didn't realise that the schools work in Gaelic round you. Thats the way to keep the language alive and to bring it back to life! Its quite a thought, isn't it, having them finish school at the age of 20 ... but they're still living, of course they are - they might want a few different experiences, tho :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm glad you're getting by, Turfy, even tho things are tight :)

Feeling very teary, just had a big row with OH, about the usual lack of money and one vehicle. DD is back in school on Monday so there wont be an issue taking her to work etc but still as usual he manages to upset the whole house. Im fed up trying to juggle in order for him to enjoy himself on time off but still manage the money. So this month he had some treats but of course now its getting tight etc etc cue big row, always the same. Anyway just came on for a moan, hes gone to pick up DD and measure a job (even though that was meant to be tomorrows job) MEN HONESTLY!!! Weary and teary could be a song title!

Still feeling carp and have been up since 5am tossing and turning so got up and put a wash in. Its a lovely morning and I think I'll do some outside jobs to keep my mind sane. I went to bed early but couldnt sleep and did at least get to a talking stage with OH, its such a long road sometimes.

Oh Turfy ... sorry to hear you're going through a rough time. I *know* I'd have had rows like that if I'd been with a partner at the time ... so many men seem to have such a short-term viewpoint, don't they, its very mysterious.

Outside jobs is a really good idea, and that way you'll have more contact with your animals too, maybe - I know that if I get to stroke some cats or dogs round here when I'm out for a walk, I feel a lot better. And lack of sleep doesn't help either, of course

Thanks peeps youre so kind. I got loads done outside including washing blowing in the wind. Talking to ned will probably get me locked up!! :rotfl: Although he does seem half interested in my witterings. Funny how even the dog looks sad they have a knack of knowing you need following about. I do love them all so much.
Anyway OH has gone out and was still like a bear with a sore head this morning. Better out the way Im thinking.
Off for some breccy Im starving now.

Of course they know! Dogs especially (and I'm a cat person, as you know!). I saw a documentary about how dogs connected to us so long ago, they've evolved with us - for humans, and for humans only, they look at the dominant side of our faces to see what our mood is - they don't do it with other animals, and they don't do it with other dogs. Just us :)

And some alone time certainly sounds like what the doctor ordered. Along with, yes, brekkie!

Well things are a bit more like normal around here at the mo, which is a good thing. DS1 and DD have been back at school since monday and DS2 had his birthday yesterday and is back on Thursday. All outdoor jobs done and Im off to help the emigratees sort out the kitchen as container is coming tomorrow.
Moneywise we have just about made it to the end of the month!! I have resigned myself to the fact that I wont be DF by 50 as we will still have the loan 2 and the mortgage, but will console myself with the fact that we are going along nicely and will get there in the end. Weather is good hope you all have a good day and are enjoying some nice weather.:T

Feeling a wee bit tired today after all the packing and cleaning. The container guys are there today so not much to do now. I have their 2 kids here so they can get on better, they are both autistic and can be a bit challenging but get on great with my chaps so they are outside in the sunshine, which has now put in an appearance.
DH has work today and will hopefully get paid on Monday so a bit more solvent now, which is great.
DD has her first official driving lesson today hope its going well.

Im off to check on the polytunnel and sort out the stable as hay will be coming this week. Hope everyone is having a good Saturday.:)

Lovely country-idyll there - sunshine, polytunnel, stable, hay ... (Hope the sunshine is travelling west.)

Fingers crossed for the driving lesson._pale_
