I so relate to that! I had to do my banking yesterday as part of that mystery shopping I did, so thats another little thing out of the way for today. How sad to be listening to a funeral like that. But it does remind us that more important things than elections are going on ... hope you're okay today.

I wondered, I realised I hadn't seen you around - hope the busyness is of the good sort, and enjoy your family's visit.

Im back and not sure about the new format but Im sure we'll get used to it. Mum and Dad have gone home today and are safely on the ferry as we speak. Holy communion went well and everyone enjoyed the day that was Saturday and the sun shone it was a gorgeous day.
The serious money business hasnt been going too well. Our van decided to give up on us last week and it looks as though its a big problem which to me spells more money!! Anyway car almost paid for and minimum payments made. Hopefully will get all back to normal now that all the visiting is done etc. Hope everyone is ok and will catch up with you all soon.

That was a long visit! Did they enjoy it? Did you? How tired are you?

This new-new format is weird - the shape of the box we type in has changed just today ..... at least you can see the line arrangement beforehand, I suppose. Odd.

Hi KC I didnt realise how tired I was until I sat on the couch after my tea and almost spilled it everywhere, fell asleep by 9pm so went straight to bed. Feeling better this morning though. Mum and Dad were here for 2 weeks which was really lovely and they really switched off and relaxed, theyre back to their b&b now and will be busy by the weekend. Its great for them to spend time with the grandkids and they are no bother at all, its nice to be back in my routine though, so will get all caught up today and no childminding this week either, although Im babysitting for a friend on Thursday whilst she has her baby scan.
I'll try and catch up on all the diaries now this week, hope all is well.
