Morning peeps. Had a nice day yesterday DD's 17th birthday so had a picky tea and cake last night, she is sitting exams at the mo so wasnt expecting a great day but she did ok and enjoyed the day.

Car passed the mot thank god as its the only one we have right now that is great news. Childminding for the rest of the week so money will be really handy as the mum has 2 wks off from monday.

Morning folks, been busy at this end decorating the conservatory etc etc. Kids have been hogging the pc so havent got on here much either. Things going ok but have no childminding now for two weeks and we need to make a trip to wales, so money is forever short and Im juggling again for the end of the month etc etc. Things should improve once were home again, still down to one vehicle so that doesnt help things OH has to meet people and I went with him yesterday just to pick up milk and go to the bank. 4 hours later we get home after he's spoken to just about everyone (they are worse than women for chatting) :eek: Anyway last day of exams today and DS2 is off to a sports day in Cork city so only a couple of school days left hooray Im in desperate need of a lie in!!

Hi there - a lie in would be good, I agree! Do the holidays mean that if you're around, you get more childminding work? Hope you enjoy your *own* holidays too, by the way.

Hi folks yes should get more childminding when were back from wales. Think the parents will be in dire need of me by then!! :rotfl:Its been very hit and miss lately with the kids as the dad hasnt had much work therefore he's been home more. Should be better towards the end of next month though. I'll be home and OH can take the car just means no running around and as playgroup will be finished too all the kids will be here. Happy days and we should be back earning some cash hooray.
Been checking out the ferry prices, never get cheaper do they. anyway seems we will be away for around 2 and a half wks as OH has a job to do for my dad and also some bits to get sorted for his parents, so cheapy holiday on the way. Should be ok and I'll get the animals organised here and the watering of the veggies etc. Hope everyone has a good day.

Im hoping relaxing for both of us, I really have lots of people to catch up with too. My cousin had a brain haemorrage a month back so I really want to see her and the people you always mean to get to see but there is never enough time IYKWIM. It never really feels like a holiday as its where were from so its like going home and catching up with all the family etc.
KC OH's family are really not the easiest to get along with, if I said they have champagne taste and lemonade income then thats a start but they can be difficult trying to organise what youre doing etc TBH they are a realy pain in the a**e but I will smile and say very little.;) Which is why we stay with my parents lol:rotfl:
Have phoned docs by the way and will be going to sort it out promise you have all kicked my butt and its appreciated.:beer:

Sounds good enough, turfy - until you can get debt free and go off on proper holiday ... and well done you for booking in at the doc's.
