That is sudden .... and leaves you up the proverbial creek have you even had a chance to look into cleaning jobs yet? Scary times to be looking for new work, I hope you find something really soon.

Thanks KC I havent had chance re the cleaning jobs yet but hope to find out a bit about rates etc this week. Its maddening to have such short notice but hey it was a cash job and it really did help us out. Things financially are a bit better at the mo so hopefully we can continue albeit a bit slower on the chipping at the debt. DH has had a couple more jobs in so thats great news, so I will look on the bright side and just be glad weve made such good progress so far.:beer:

Absolutely - head is definitely *above* water, thats always a good position to be in. My eyes are closing at the o, tho, so I must go to bed really soon - but I've only just got on!

Sorry folks havent posted for a while. Got some really bad news about a close Aunt who is very poorly and who has a terminal brain tumour, she is 84 and up to now has been very active etc etc I will be going back to wales on monday with DD to see her, she is hopefully coming home from hospital tomorrow and then a nurse will be coming in daily, so I suppose this time it will be our goodbyes, and I have been a bit trance like lately, not sleeping properly etc.

Money wise things are ok and Ive just noticed that DS1 and DD should be back in school next Thursday :eek: I had assumed wrongly that they were all due back on the 1st Sept as normal, so now the heat is on to get organised re books and bags etc, good job school uniform isnt so bad as I bought too much stuff last year, so we'll get through on that score. Right off for a cuppa and then clean the oven deep joy. I did the whole kitchen last week including spiders etc in the plate cupboard so most places look good.

Got some school stuff today still need to get shoes for DS1 and bags but do have the uniforms now so not doing too bad. Books etc on my list for tomorrow then I can go to wales on monday and not worry too much. Funny little DS2 is hanging around me you'd think I was going for a month poor little fella, keep telling him its only for a few days! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.
