Hiya! OOh, I didn't realise they were active enough to run their own B&B, wow. Very nice to have them when they're that active - nowadays, when my mum comes to visit, she can cope with a one off of maybe five hours out, but normally, she doesn't actually want to do anything - we walked to the postbox one evening, I'm not kidding, and she couldn't make it all the way because its up a hill
she's still active for her age tho, and people on the phone have to be *told* she's in her 80s, so she's not really doing so bad.

Ive had a horrible cold for the past two days, but feel more human today.
The president of the country is in our village today and dd is playing her flute with some other friends especially for the occasion, she will be visiting their school around lunchtime. Weather has turned a bit showery in typical fashion for something like this.
Mum and Dad got home safe and sound and are probably cooking up breakfasts as I speak. They are good for their age both in their mid seventies and very active.
Still having vehicle troubles and will be glad to return to "normal" whatever that is :rotfl:Our bank holiday is next weekend so hope everyone enjoys theirs this weekend.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Great things happening today, the back of the house (the old part) is getting plastered today at long last hopefully will help all other inside probs too. OH is labouring on the plasterer and they are trading carpentry for plastering which is great.
Got loads of cleaning done this morning so place although not tidy but is clean. Off to collect DS2 from the bus in a bit so just time to wash up after lunch. Hope everyone is having a good day.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. Loan 2 €29,590 now €0 as of 22/02/2016 Mgage €55000/ €23,639 at 01/02/18

Hi folks been mia for a while. Busy busy which is good but were down to one vehicle, the van was going to cost more than we can reasonably afford to fix so we took the decision to sell it!!! Its gone so its been lots of running around. I have the kids today so had to drop DH at work with his tools then do the school run, DD is doing her exams and DS2 is at school till next friday so hopefully things wont be so bad once theyre all finished for the summer.
Not much else happening really were going to have to organise a trip home as dad wants DH to do some work for him at the B&B cant really afford to go but you know the story!;) Well manage somehow. Only small payments of dear old visa at the mo, but more than the minimum so baby steps for a bit.Visa £[STRIKE]5063 [/STRIKE]now 0. Loan 1 €[STRIKE]4885[/STRIKE] now 0. Turfy! You *have* been mia! And if the above post is "not much happening", well, I'd hate to meet you on a busy day - of course, I wouldn't meet you, you'd be rushing about at the speed of light and my eyes wouldn't be able to focus on you :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0
