Oily skin

Hi For the last couple of days I've not cleansed or moisturised my face for various reasons and just used a flannel and water and have today noticed that my forehead which is usually starting to get a bit oily by now isn't as oily as it usually is. I did OCM for a few nights in a row and the spots that I had just seemed to get worse. They have calmed down now (I think it was hormonal rather than OCM that caused it) so am giving it another go but not every night.

I've tried oil free moisturisers and I don't get on with them. I use a cheapie cucumber daily moisturiser from Boots and that doesn't seem to leave me with a film on my skin or make it too claggy (god I love that word!).
