Becles, thanks
Erm, so what are your tips for not having a latest fashions obsessed little boy?
Most of the time I bought their clothes without them being there. I just pick up stuff while I'm working from cheap shops like Primark, Tesco, Asda etc. It's only been in the last couple of years that they've wanted to come shopping and pick their own stuff. I still steer them into Primark etc, by saying "look how cheap, you can get a few t-shirts in here but only 1 from the sport shop"money_maker wrote: »D
There are a few things that I dont see how people can do either, like eat marmite or tuna, or jump out of a plane .....
its each to their own as far as I'm concerned
I couldn't eat marmite but jumping out of planes is awesome
Have completed a 10,000ft tandem skydive, and some 3500 ft solo jumps. Have also abseiled off the top of Sunderland's Stadium of Light and last year I paraglided off a 6000ft mountain in Turkey. I'm nervous of water though even though I can swim, and it took me a long time to pluck up the courage to put my face in the water to snorkleHere I go again on my own....0 -

Mummies insticnt - You'll know if your bubs can handle it! Dont they say bumbos are for older children also? Im sure if he can sit in that then he'll be good in the bath seat....(thats just my opinion though...)

Hi ladies!
I am, at last, taking the plunge and joining you lot after "graduating" from the pregnancy club!
I am a first time mum and my daughter Bronwen Elizabeth was born on the 6th July weighing 7lbs 9oz by ventouse delivery. It wasn't the easiest birth and we spent 6 days in hospital - I had to have a blood transfusion due to excessive blood loss during delivery, but she was worth it all!
(I will write up my full birth story soon, but I haven't had the time or energy!)

I stopped breast feeding after just 4 days as Bronwen lost a lot of weight because she wouldn't latch properly, so I gave in and gave her formula (she is now gaining weight very well).
I have a quick question for any other mummies that are formula feeding. Do you make up each feed one at a time (as the guidelines say you should) or do you make them up in advance? I was thinking of having bottles of boiled water ready in the fridge so that i can just add the formula to it when needed - or am I just being a bad, lazy mummy?
I look forward to getting to know you all soon and I will probably have lots of questions to ask you.

Ladies do you think this wardrobe is too baby-ish?]
I've found it for £125 delivered (RRP is over £200) or do you think a plain white bog standard affair is a better idea?Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I don't FF but I believe the issue is with bacteria potentially growing once the milk is made up so I wouldn't have thought there was any problem with pre-doing the water.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5
