I didn't even know there was a George pig :o

It just has the normal thin spindles which are about an inch thick and curved so not great for attaching anything to...

I might get one of those big, moveable barrier things then I can just move it about as and when...either that or a leg chain so I can tie him to the bed :D

Nope nor did I - apparently it is Peppa's brother:confused: I'm sure I will get to know all these new cartoon character ssoon;)

Oh right, bit of a pain. Are you able to just have one at the bottom of the stairs and one on his room, so he can't escape onto the landing unless someone is there with him

Could you trick her into thinking she's in her preferred position? Like you'd do if she had a favourite side?
It's a bit of a difficult position to replicate any other way though lol... I did trick her a little bit last night by her lying on the sofa cushion across my knee... But she noticed after a few sucks and wouldn't go back on... She's the same today... It's easy enough feeding her lying down... Bit more difficult when she'll only do it lying on her left side and it's time for the other booby but I seem to be managing OK by lying on one and angling myself... Not ideal though! My plan is not to push it too much this week and just go with her... Then slowly try and stealth feed her when she's not looking... See if I can slip a couple of right hand feeds in and then go for the odd sitting up one... Wish me luck!

AM Ryan looks so smart with his new 'do :) His mop made him look like an oasis fan (which I thought was quite cute n funny) his lovely eye have reminded me Does anyone who's LO has brown eyes remember when they changed? Ed has lovely blue eyes still and I hope they stay but I can't remember when Chris's changed to brown
Aimee's were blue by the time we got home from hospital I think, Caitlyn's are still really dark grey and we have no idea if they will change to blue or brown... They're so dark people assume they're brown like mine but they're not!
We use Aptimil stage 1 milk, but it is mostly just for making up cerial etc. She only has formula to drink if she is at my Mums and will be having it at nursery too, when she starts there in September. I'm hoping I can still do the daytime feeds on the days I'm not at work and night time feeds every day for as long as she wants them, but I will just have to see how my supply reacts to being mucked about I suppose.

Had a fun time at the coffee morning this morning - last one before I go back to work, although I will have lots of holiday to use between 21st September and beginning of December (not allowed holiday in December) so maybe I can take the appropriate Mondays as days off. :rotfl: My Mum met us there, and took izzy home with her, so I can get some stuff done. So far I've got the washing machine on, washed up and cooked lunch. Ended up cooking tea at the same time (just needs a few finishing touches and bunging in the oven for a bit) which isn't bad going seeing as I've only been home for an hour or so.

The only thing I have to moan about today is DH's inability to grasp the fact that when you have finished washing up everything is meant to be CLEANER THAN WHEN YOU STARTED . Most of the washing up was the stuff he "washed" last night - I was able to put away 4 things from the whole lot. You can translate that as "all is well in the ladybird household today" seeing as I can't think of anything better to moan about ;)

Anyway, best get on. Have a kitchen floor to clean, and a living room to tidy and hoover while I have a house free of anyone who is scared of the big noisy machine ;)

Oh - one last question. I need to get a stairgate soon. No stairs here, but I want one to put between the living room and kitchen. I'd kind of prefer one that doesn't have a bar across the bottom to trip over, although I realise we will soon get used to it being there if we have one. I don't know if there are pros/cons of the different kinds though. Any recomendations? (Our own property, so no problem about screwing things into door frames etc.)
Your supply should regulate to just when you are with her... A friend of mine works 3 days and fed both her children the other 4 days and evenings with no problem. :)

As far as stairgates go, I had a couple of lindam ones that you screwed the bits into the door frames so there was no bar to step over... They were good apart from the plastic fixings broke and I had to have replacement parts sent out... You just reminded me actually, I still have the parts screwed in on my stairs and kitchen doorway and used to just swap 1 gate between the two depending what I needed blocking off... When I didn't need it at all I stored it next to my wheelie bin... It was sadly destroyed in the great bin fire of 2007... Wonder if I could get a gate to fit the fixings... <goes off to google>

I've used cow and gate with both my boys, never had any problems.

Does annyone know if you can use healthy start vouchers to purchase follow on milk?

I don't think you can, i'm sure I heard a mum in the shop saying just that the other day, while she was stood in the baby milk aisle talking to herself:eek:

Keira is peppa pig mad! The shops ALWAYS do that, peppa will be on the girls clothes because she is a girl, and george on the boys, Keira's fave is george! I remember when she had her ben 10 phase, I had to buy her boys clothes as they didn't sell any girl clothes with him on it, I got her the pyjamas as didn't want her wearing boys shoes outside....

How did you get a free box and install:confused: We have just been discussing Sky Hd and sports packages etc...but I don't want multi-room and that means paying £30 for install, plus the £49 for the box, and I am not doing it, I am putting my foot down, I will not be talked into it:rotfl:

It's called hubby who MUST have every package under the sun *sigh* we had multiroom for ages but we rarely use it so don't see the point... the free install and free biox is because they know a cash cow when they see one moo-ing it's way out the door ;)

According to my Mum, Tammy Wynette did that with her kids. Was pretty common none too long ago.

My house is a death trap still. Think I'll do usual thing of thinking stuff will never happen, the panic when it does.

LOL - Tammy Wynette!! My mum loved her when I was a kid, I know all the words to her early stuff!

Edit: bizziebaby have some holiday stollers to test MacSmiler - she says that things get sent out in rotation - keeping my fingers crossed that you get one ;)

Thanks feely, that's pretty much how I lie with her, good to know it's got a name lol... I just remembered actually, when Aimee was a baby and I still had SPD, I used to lie her on 2 pillows to feed from the top booby so I didn't have to move... I'd forgotten about that! (terribly naughty off me too!)
