I'm very lucky that I'm the decision-maker's assistant so I've managed to persuade her to pay up half my holiday entitlement next month instead of having to wait for it to be worked out when I go back. Our holiday year runs 1 April to 31 March and I only used one day's holiday between 1 April and 17 May this year, so have 24 plus BHs left :)

so, are you having it as pay instead of rolling the leave on til next year? :)

Elle, I have a question you might be able to help with....

Keeping in touch days, do I get paid a normal day's wage plus my SMP or does it get deducted from my SMP, in which case I should do all of them in the UNPAID part of my maternity leave?
