  • Tesco have half price tommee tippee breast pads at the moment - my favourite :T:T

Thanks for the heads up on nappies MrsM - I am glad I couldn't fit any in the trolley today now. Tesco didn't have any of the proper trolleys which take baby seats and Benjamin was asleep so I had to put his seat inside the trolley

Kai and Violet were definately impressed with each other! But i'm undecided if Kai & Vie sounds cute, or like something you'd see on the visor strip of a Ford Capri (prob. only the older ladies will get that!):rotfl:
Not sure I want to be classed as an 'older lady' I'm not even thirty yet!

Krystal - when were you thinking of going swimming? ;)
No definite day yet (apart from definitely not Thursday, Miss has her 2nd jabs :() But I shall probably mention what day once it's confirmed... ;)

  • Would you ever spend exactly half and half though? The booklet says to put it through as whatever was the highest amount...

Ah, this shop I managed it to be about half and half - I doubled up some tesco vouchers (so I effectively got £20 worth of nappies for free :T:T:T) and I carefully picked out the rest of my shopping so I could use the other vouchers I had too. Mind you, this is the first time I've managed such a voucher-tastic shopping trip. It probably won't happen again!

MM - get yourself off to a mother and baby group :) Your HV should know where you can find one, or have a look on the NCT website, and find out when/where there is a coffee morning coming up :)

ah I will :) I had no idea where to start, all the groups I've been to were surestart or had a link through a friend

do you have to be a member to go to the coffe mornings? I think there is one at my nearest starbucks but I always assumed I couldn't go (and wouldn't fit in but I've changed a lot - I'm now a bit of a hippy :p)

I've never tried Dr Browns, might give them ago.

It sounds silly but because this is my last baby I feel inclined to make sure she has the best of everything I can afford to give her as I know I wont be doing all this again. :o

Yeah, My Mason had terrible colic, I bought 1 dr browns and the difference was amazing, they are quite expensive I think about £10.00 but well worth it!!!!

My Mason is now 3 and beginning to think about another:-) Think its a nice age difference.x
:money: giving me & my darling boys a better cheaper life :o:A
