I think the ones that had an uneventful birth don't think its interesting enough and so don't add theirs
I've never posted by birth story because it would be a rant.

mooki, if they are actually crying, then yes there can be tears, but generally they are making a noise to let you know something likr they are hungry.

Do babies cry proper tears only I've never seen Leila cry tears although it might be that she isnt left long enough.:p
I don't think Alice had tears a lot when she was very small. I seem to remember it being notable when she had vaccinations that she cried real tears.

Thanks for clarifying the tears thing. She very rarely cries so when she does I only leave for a few mins or as long as it takes to finish whatever i'm doing.

I just kissed her on the cheek and she smiled in her sleep. I dont half love her!:D

My scanner question was - when you pick your payment options, voucher and debit card are both on the list, so what do I do when I've paid for half the shopping with a voucher and he other half with a card. The answer was either scan the two halves of the shopping sepearately, or just bung it all through as a card payment. Guess which way I shall proceed!
Would you ever spend exactly half and half though? The booklet says to put it through as whatever was the highest amount...

They just rang me about mine but when hubby plugged it in the other night the house phone wouldn't work properly. He thinks it's because we have cable not BT... They're going to call back later when he's in from work... That'll cheer him up... Especially when he's had a day from hell at work... And I need him to retrieve something from the bowels of the shed...

Some babies take a bit longer to get real tears... Aimee didn't have any for months but Caitlyn had them pretty much right from the start...

MFD, have you ever been to Baggeridge park? One of my Mummy friends came round today and we took the children to the play area there... They loved it, there's piles of sand to go digging in and apparently there's a pond for fishing with a net (But we never made it off the playground lol) and loads of woodland... We'll definitely be going back! (Oh and we plan on going swimming at Bentley Bridge next week ;))

Argh, cot is being annoying. One bolt just won't tighten! And I forgot to buy a sheet!

I just checked Alice and she's 93cm (91st centile) and 2st1 (between 50th and 75th) so only 1cm shorter and 2 lb lighter than I was when I was three. Apparently from age 2 to 5 I only gained 7lbs.

We never had cot sheets. We have so many regular sheets we just used them.
