  • Chocolate custard is the only custard I like, what about rice pudding with a big blob of jam in the middle, they had a stupid rule at our school where if you stirred it in and made it pink you had to eat it all before you went out to play??! What difference did it make if you'd stirred it in?

You were playing with your food

I hate rice pudding. There are only 3 things that I don't eat...bananas, beetroot and rice pudding :p

    I make a lovely RP apparently :D

This is the kind of girly lunch that has babies and soft drinks...not wine and raucous laughter ;)

How much was the food flask in tesco? I'm looking to get Aimee one before she goes back but they're not cheap...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • We were never allowed school dinners, so I missed out on the delights of pink custard and whatnot.

And £2.68 per person? Blimey! We spent less than that on our chippy tea today and we went out for that! Mind you, I've no idea how much we normally spend per person, i've never worked it out, but I'm sure it's normally less than that.

Also - it might be worth thinking about making all the sandwiches at the beginning of the week and freezing them...it sounds horrible but whoever it was that told me about doing it said that they were fine and they just took a sandwich out for child each morning and it was defrosted by lunch time
I used to do that when I was a student (because people stole food from the fridge but nobody steals frozen sandwiches). I used to get them out the night before (unless it was hot) as sometimes they were a little crunchy if I got them out on the day but it depends on how warm it is where they are stored - I was in a north facing office at the time.

I would love to know what you all thought I looked like, pointless asking now as I am in my own avvy, but I wonder if I am what you thought I would be ???
Everyone always looks like me in my head. (Long brown hair, brown eyes, slightly taller than average and slightly thinner than average.) I also imagine everyone with an English accent. I always get such a suprise when American bloggers do videos as when I read them they have an English accent in my head so the American accents come as a suprise.

I just watched last weeks Economy Gastronomy and their "economy" budget was £6760 for a year.
