oh and carla, if she can understand (sorry I've forgotten what they're like at that age) get her to help so she's involved, Chris likes to pass me nappies, wipes etc and he always 'helps' me bath Ed (this usually involves him soaking the bathroom and himself LOL)
When I was born my mum got my sis a doll and my sis would change dolly's nappy everytime mum changed mine, she'd feed dolly when she fed me etc

hey sami! long time no chat, hehe!! :)

thats good, at least ther may be light at the end of the tunnel. altho,im not sure if its ew arrival to the family, or approcahing the terrible twos, or a mixture of both causing it!
I have been basically leaving chrispther when he has been fed and changed etc, and me and Katie play with her bricks, dolls house, play shops, just generally what we did before he arrived. hopefully she calms down a bit.
she obviously adores him thought - when she distracts herself from playing, she wants to kiss, stroke and hold him which gives me a heart attack at times!! but at leat she is showng interest!!?
at least she probably isn't strong enough to pick him up, my Chris tried to pick up Ed the other day he had him about 4cms of the floor  I was saying don't but he is well into the terrible twos

Christopher bought Katie a car seat, travel cot and high chair when he was born ( very advanced my son is!!lol) for her dolls, but since he has arrived Katie hasnt been bothered much with her dolls! typical!!

Ugh I feel rotten - damned DH has passed on his dreaded man flu to me but apparently it's only a cold that I have!

Did have a nice evening with the bezzie mate though. We went for a Chinese Buffett and then onto the pics to watch ice age 3.
    Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/12
  • Sami - my 9yo DSS 'struggles' to pick Benjamin up :rotfl:but he also says 'ouch - Benjamin is hitting me in the face' and then looks at me like I am mad when I tell him to move his face out of the way :D

I have discovered though that Benjamin will sit by DSS for ages...just sat chillin with his big bro' it's dead cute when DSS puts his arms around him too :)

My breastpump is making funny noises...I think I may be taking it apart tomorrow. I only managed 3 1/2 oz tonight :(

Feely - do you still have a huge milk store? Will be good for mixing baby rice / porridge when you do decide to wean Toby!

Edgar will sit and stare at Chris for ages, He loved his big bro ever since he first clapped eyes on him :D

I had to throw away the 3oz I expressed this morning :( Ed slept through my app and when I went to see if he'd take the bottle from me it had gone all grainy  so down the drain it went
