thats half of the ironing done! just half a mountain to go!
thanks for the packed lunch ideas! am hoping it will save me money too! was thinking about a weekly bake and then freeze it so it only has to be taken out the night before!
MIL sent half of my ironing back todayshe wants me to go and pick the rest up tomorrow
think I had better take her some flowers!
Do you know if the school has any restrictions on what they can take? Some schools have started banning crisps and chocolate.
Also - it might be worth thinking about making all the sandwiches at the beginning of the week and freezing them...it sounds horrible but whoever it was that told me about doing it said that they were fine and they just took a sandwich out for child each morning and it was defrosted by lunch timeplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Our school has a healthy break policy, so we are not allowed to give them crisps or biscuits or chocolate, which is fine in general, but after a few weeks, she gets bored of the same old things and wants something different !! I found the best thing EVER is to freeze frubes, it keeps them fresh till lunch time and they are still cold !!!The two best things I have done with my life

They seemed to be new in, as the lady was only just putting them out on the rack as I was there.My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Do you know if the school has any restrictions on what they can take? Some schools have started banning crisps and chocolate.
We're not allowed sweets, but are allowed a chocci biscuit (kit-kat/penguin etc), and we're not allowed cans of fizzy drinks.
Caz Both of mine (12 and 8) have a sandwich or pitta, crisps, two pieces of fruit/veg, drink, yoghurt and flapjack/biscuit. DD's school are allowed to have one of the pieces of fruit at morning break.
It will save you a fortune! Mine are £10.60 a week EACH on school dinners!
We got a little wide thermos today in Tescos so DD can take pasta. (Her favorite thing!).
Mel DS is going out with my sister tomorrow so I can 'do lunch' with my girls.:beer:0 -

Millie's school don't allow juice, crisps or chocolate in packed lunches but she is on dinners and is always coming home and saying she's had chips or fishfingers or chocolate brownie/pudding!
Tia just saw your photo's, shes gorgeous, Millie had one of those doodahs in her hand when she was new too, it kept coming out and she ended up with one in her foot too, seeing Ambers just reminded me, I've forgotten all about the rubbish time we had in hospital, it will soon be over for you too and then you can enjoy her.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
