They are just REALLY soft! Really good quality, and a decent size.

Other mums comment on them too :D

Maybe I will cut one into quarters and post it out to you non-bambino-mio believers!!!

I have only compared them to Asda, Tesco and John Lewis ones :shhh:
I'm still kicking myself for not copping a feel :p

Oh thankyou, they look good! Maybe one for the future.. Thing is I still need all the pump kit to sterilise and we need the removeable lid so we can keep topping up the bottle - no point in presenting him with a 50ml bottle straight off in case he doesn't take it all :o

ETA: weezl, I'm just looking at your suggested packing list now.. :D
  • Still not really had time to catch up and due to be web-conferencing now but I wanted to tell you about my lovely MIL.

MIL looked after Benjamin today from 9.45 til 2.45pm which was lovely of her, especially because I asked her last minute....I went into the utility for a wee before and ALL my ironing has gone!!!

MIL has taken EVERYTHING home to iron over the next few days

Which unfortunately meant that poor Benjamin had no clean sleepsuits to go to bed in so he is squeezed into a 3-6m one :o
In my defence, I don't normally iron them, I only have 7 ATM (because he keeps growing out of them) and she took the stuff out of my tumble drier :rotfl:

    I love my MIL!!

ah, right, sorry! That's a shame, would take up loads less space eh?

NB about the list: rabbit is fergie's toy- not what kristal thought I'd packed!

Elle has Rhys worked out about pulling the elephant down on our baby gym? I keep showing fergie, and he just wants me to do it! Even if I fasten his hand around it and pull WITH him :rotfl:

    Oh, something else..

I was telling my mum we were talking about when to stop breastfeeding. She said she stopped at six months, so I asked her what we drank between then and having cows milk at one year old and she thinks it was just water and orange squash!! (this was 23-25 years ago)

I thought babies had to have milk so it they weren't having breastmilk they'd have formula, the follow-on type until one year.. Is that wrong? I know it's been said that follow-on milks are a marketing ploy, but don't 6-12mth olds have to have milk of some description??

I thought they'd have had formula., unless we used to be allowed cows milk earlier in ye olden days?

Mum didn't f/b me, cos it wasn't the done thing in the (early) 70's so formula must have been available.

My DS and DD2 are fast asleep, DD1 is having a sleepover at Mums and OH is working. I've got the tv remote all to myself and i'm bored already!
