Hello everyone, not been on for a while again, i'm addicted to farmville and yoville on FB so that takes up most of my online time :rotfl:
Hope all is well, congrats and hugs to those who need them.
FEELIE, wow what a big boy! gonna get Ryan weighed next week so will let you know how big he is, I dont think he's quite the size of Toby yet, but he is extremely long!
I had a mad weekend, it was my birthday on Sunday, so on Friday OH went out, bought me some new clothes and a new ring then took me to a posh restaurant for a meal (£75 for 2!) I tried to persuade him to take me to the harvester :rotfl: The food was lush though.
I got pished on one glass of wine so decided to carry on drinking, got hom and went round me neoghbours and got even more drunk, collapsed in bed at about 2am!
Ryan is rolling about the place like noones business now, been trying to upload a video for days but FB and my computer are being barstewards, once i get it up i'll link you so you can see it.

*sigh* What an afternoon.. More blooming messing around with NHS admin people and phone calls!
And so the rant begins...
Firstly we went for jabs and to get weighed. All well and good, lovely nurses and health visitor, lots of doctors receptionists (six of them - must be like the tardis in their office!) cooing over Rhys. He's gained weight, thank God - he's now half an ounce under 6lb! Usual reaction to jabs - look of shock, burst blood vessels in his eye lids, lots of screaming then whimpering, and then zonked out. We got back to Mum's, Rhys woke up, downed a 60ml bottle (unheard of for him!) then zonked out again.
Got home and my mobile was ringing just as I pulled into the drive. Missed the call, waited for an answerphone message but they didn't leave one. Checked the house phone but nothing. After half an hour, I got a phone call from my Mum, saying the hospital had phoned her with an urgent message for me... Why couldn't they have phoned the house or leave a message?! They'd also phoned Craig (whilst he was driving) but not left a message
Anyway, turns out Rhys' blood tests are back and show he has a sky high calcium level so has to stop taking one of his meds immediately, and also go back for a repeat blood test on Friday morning (when the HV is supposed to be coming to me!). They asked if he'd been lethargic and not feeding well but Mum couldn't say for sure as she's not the one looking after him. YES, he has been lethargic and not feeding well!! Now I feel really stupid cos I thought that was just him being sleepy (and he needs to sleep to grow) so I didn't think to mention it specifically to the comms nurses!I was going to mention his feeding yesterday and I did ask the HV today and she said go with what I'd already started doing which is almost force feeding him (and threatening him with putting his tube back in ).
Now the poor little mite is only getting one jab free day this week..I had thought we might get a quiet night tonight because of him being zonked out from his jabs - thankful we get that reaction and not grouchy because he can't have Calpol - but now I'm going to be worrying if it's because of the too much meds
Going to get a cuppa and biscuit to cheer me up. Rhys is in usual position for this time of day - asleep on Daddy's chest! :rolleyes:0 -
i dont get a sore head just tired and alittle dodgy stomach for a little bit ... im ok just hungry now it was a very random day yesterday i ended it by telling a girl i used to work with how dare you treat me the way you did? then she turned around and said i was being very agressive ... well yer i was angry :rotfl: x
Still searching .....:)

I think I've explained our name choice before, but I'll bore you all with it again..
Because LO was always going to have Craig's surname, I wanted their name to have a Y in both the first and middle name because "two Ys" is the way of spelling my name (more often spelt with an I rather than Y). Don't really know why we chose Rhys, we just liked it, and preferred the Rhys rather than the Reece spelling, so that was all dandy.
Couldn't decide on a middle name so I started looking at random names on baby name websites and came across Alary. Just liked the sound of it, it has a Y in it, and we also came up with another reason for liking it is "Al" for Albert (FIL) and Alan (my Dad's middle name and Craig's Grandad who passed away at Christmas).
Coincidentially (honest!), we realised later that all the letters in Rhys Alary are in our names, Lynsey Helen and Craig. Same thing with our girls name, but (hopefully!) we might still get to use that one so I'm not telling yet0 -
Ah - I would call them prawn crackers. I throw them away but I'm sure they don't have any real prawn in them anyway.
Prawn crackers do have real prawn in them. We were having a discussion about prawn crackers in bed one night and I said they did, and he said they didn't and in the end we got up and checked on the internet, and I was right :rotfl:
Names - I picked Joshua as I thought it was unusual. That year Joshua raced into the top name chart and has been there ever since, so it's common as muckWe didn't have a girls name as he was lying with his legs wide open on the scan, so it was pretty obvious he was a boy!
James was named by Joshua after his favourite engine in Thomas the Tank engine. I liked Elenor for a girl, but ex wanted Louise, and we hadn't agreed on a name when I went into labour, so I'm pleased he was a boy.
Charlotte was named because my bump got nicknamed Charlie. I don't see hubby on mornings as he leaves early morning for work, so he'd come in on an afternoon and ask how I was feeling and then say "and how's Charlie doing in there" to my tummy and it just stuck! We didn't have a boys name picked as we knew she was a girl from having the extra scans.
elle - hope Rhys gets sorted out. That sounds worrying with the blood tests *hugs*Here I go again on my own....0 -
It'd better be something good - it's been over a month now.
