We picked Alice because we liked it and Lydia because we liked it and it's in the Bible. (I had spreadsheets and formulae and everything.) It took as about 7 months but fortunately we started before we started TTC.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

I love the idea of a baby names spreadsheet
I have spreadsheets for lots of things, but not baby names!

so what is Celia's middle name? Thora?
Yup, the explanation takes a couple of weeks and requires a history lesson!Elijah always makes me think of Elijah Blue! Does he have a middle name?
It always makes me think of Elijah thingy, oh what's his name, er, you know, Frodo! Is it Wood? Well anyway, him!
Bruno, I didn't hit multi quote on yours for some reason but by the blinking heck I hope we get teeth (and soon) or I might cry! The top two look ready to come through so I'm hopeful! She'd just settled down to usually only waking twice as well which was exciting!Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -
Am back from the doctors. My poor little man really didn't like the 16 wk jabs, he's been fine with all the others. He's now sleeping it off in a calpol haze.
We chose Daniel because it's one of the names that both of us like and also isn't already used by a member of either of our families Paul is the name of DH best friend and his cousin. We already have the names for our next child whichever flavour they may be?Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -
I went out! I went to the clinic, and I went for coffee afterwards!
All went well, I survived, even had a nice time. Toby was brilliant. Had to get him weighed twice, as they thought it might have been written down wrongly. He has gone from the 50th Centile at 8 weeks, to the 98th Centile at 16 weeks!
ETA - he is now 18lb and 12oz!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

I forgot about Elijah Wood - nice eyes!
I'm intrigued now about Celia Thora! (I've borrowed Celia and put it on my mental list for no.4 - maybe I should make a spreadsheet!) :rotfl::beer:0 -

We found the 12 week jabs to have the worst effect! Hopefully he'll be fine when he wakes up.
Which reminds me, i've had a letter from my docs asking me to make an appointment for this week, for the next set of jabs.I am right that its 2, 3 and 4 months, then nothing til around 1?

Well he had the grand sum of 45 Mins! He seems happy enough though giggling away talking to his daddy and the dog. Yeah your correct with the ages 3. Glad my appointments are made for me otherwise I am sure I would forget:rolleyes:Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -
Jasmine was picked by OH as that is the name he had picked to call his restaurant if he ever bought one and we really liked it, Cora was what I had picked for a girl the whole pregnancy untill a week before she was born and we changed to J.
J picked Dylan for no other reason than she liked it and we were happy to keep her happy (& its a beautiful name) and Christopher is OHs name
The two best things I have done with my life

STOPTOBER CHALLANGE ... here we go !!0 -
Back from the needles. She did great, didn't even cry!
She had her review, asking her colours etc, I mentioned her speech, just because she doesn't speak AS clearly as she could, and how she can't pronounce some words, like finger sounds like PINGER. Said it's no big deal and once she's at nursery it will probably get better.
Got her weighed and measured, I think it's wrong though, she isn't 2stone 5lbs, she is 2stone 2lbs, and I know fine i'm right! She's 2st 3lbs at a push, so that puts her in the above (slightly)average bit on weight, and shes apparently below average (slightly) on height, even the woman was suprised as she looks taller.
I always thought she was underweight? When you take her clothes off there is nowt there!
Also not happy with that HV as she asked about her going to the toilet and I explained that she makes herself constipated holding it in etc, because of the toilet and that we've not been really successful so far, as she holds it in until it bursts out in the pants.....she was making out like it was a big deal and I should go back in for advice etc. Don't think so, a 3 year old child not being completely potty trained? DEAR LORD!
Never liked the HVs there anyhow.0
