Think it's 26 until Aimee goes back, I'm not counting but someone on my facebook is lol...

Just listed Aimee's ELC fairy stuff on eBay, been doing her room today and she just has far too much stuff! It's hard to know what to get rid of though... I can remember my mum getting rid of a load of stuff I loved once while I was at school and I don't think I ever got over it... I try and consult with Aimee when outgrows things but she's as bad as me fir hoarding!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Tough couple of days - Alexandra has started to refuse the boobie when she feels like it and it's really getting to me :(
She's not put on as much as I'd like - she only weighed in at 5.2kg today which is fairly under the 50 percentile so definitely not happy :(
Which means I'm going to go back to pumping several times a day and then topping up each breast feed with a bottle to make sure she's eating enoug. Back to be weighed in again next week to see if she's any better then :(
I'm knackered and feeling a bit low so not really been on the parents thread much...
Anyway - elle keeping fingers and toes crossed for Rhys and hoping his calcium levels come down asap! Did they say if they were testing for anything other than calcium levels when you're next in?

Tine - has she developed bottle preference do you think? What flow teat are you using?

Hugs Tine. No useful advice, but Violet has been fighting with the boobie for a few days now, except for the first thing in the morning one and it makes you feel pretty useless!
Was she weighed by the HV today? Was she concerned?

I remember coming home from school one day and Mum had passed all my teddys to my cousins. I was heartbroken! In fact, I think i'm still traumatised by it!
If I try to sort Livs room with her present, and suggest its time for something to go to the charity shop/tip, it suddenly becomes her most favorite ever toy!

MrsTine, Ello quite often refuses to feed, You've probably already tried this but I can generally get her on and to stay on by standing up and rocking/walking about whilst feeding. It makes me look like a loon but it has the desired effect.

Doubt it... till today she hadn't had a bottle for 2 weeks
I've purposely not used any fast flow teats so she's only had the slowest flow teat even today...
Sometimes she'll feed fine no problem at all, other times she'll not feed whilst I use the pillow, but fine if I just hold her, other times she'll only take the left boob (which used to be her least fave!) and othertimes she won't take a boob at all... I only gave up tonight and gave her a bottle of EBM :(

*hugs* and thanks.. I was wondering where you were :)

They're testing his parathyroid as well as calcium levels - high calcium is a sign of a parathyroid condition which we already know he has but then he needed calcium to compensate for his kidneys.. it's all about a fine balance and we've obviously got it wrong at the minute. It must be on the high side of high as they've cut the meds altogether. I'm assuming if they've chosen Friday for a repeat test, that's only two and a bit days without the meds so they must think it'll go down quickly without them.

Can't help with the boobie issues but I can sympathise with how frustrating it is - Rhys is still in the first stages of the bouncing and faffing around
