Going to be a rough day tomorrow, Neghbours son is getting buried and the service is at the house with a guard of honour from the TA and the fire brigade (who he also worked for). I will show my face at the service but not going to the grave.
Will be on at some stage, but might not be in a talkative mood :)

Take care today MM and look after your neighbour. Will be thinking of you xx

Off to see Craig's grandparents today. His Gran found a breast lump and it's being removed on Tuesday, so she's a bit upset. Hoping Charlotte will cheer her up.
Here I go again on my own....

MM hope you are ok today, take care.

Hugs for both of you xx

Its the weekend and I have no motivation. ?!TMI!? AF arrived and Im pi55ed off, I knew it was coming since I am on the pill but Lexi is almost 4 months now and I have bled on and off (never more than 2 days off in a row) since she was born. Mostly just spotting from starting the pill. But the last week I had 5 bleed free days and it was amazing! And now a 'full on' type period for the next 5-7 days  Argh I could scream I really could! Hopefully once AF has been and gone things will go back to normal.

Right best go and do some stuff, been up since 4.45 and have done sweet FA all morning, just been sat here feeling sorry for myself :o

Hope you all have a good day enjoy this sunshine xx

Thanks for all the good wishes for today :)

Caz, is she feeding every hour, or just waking? If she is just waking, could you try leaving her in a separate room to see if she could cry herself back over to sleep? Not sure if that would be worse or not though ??

Sparkle, hopefully 'things' will be back to normal for you next week :)

becles, charlotte will def cheer everyone up with that big grin :)

Hmmmm. One part of our baby routine which is relatively settled is, once he gets up he stays awake til early lunch around 11.30ish, has a quick BF, then naps for 1-2 hours.
This morning I took him out to the local farmer's market, then headed to baby rhyme time at the local library, to let OH have a lie-in. On the 5 minute drive between the two places, at 10.20, he fell solidly and heavily asleep, to the extent that he didn't wake when I lifted him out of the car seat, etc!

He hasn't done anything like this in months! I guess he is still cold-y, he has been snotty and woke a bit in the night being miserable... but hmmmm.

Hope everyone is enjoying good weather out there, gorgeous sunny morning here in London!

    Morning all.. *yawn*

When / how do you bring in a routine? Rhys is 12wks old (tomorrow) but call it 6wks for decent development and proper waking/eating/sleeping. At the minute, he tends to wake/eat/sleep every 2-3 hours from 7am to 3pm, then he's awake for a few hours before falling asleep for 2-3 hours with OH, then wide awake from 9pm to about 1am and won't go down to sleep properly until 3am. The faffing about in the early hours is really getting to me now :( I know he needs to sleep to grow but I need sleep to stay sane!

Do I just keep him awake by playing etc for hours at a time in the morning and afternoon to stretch his awake times in the hope he'll be tired out at night? What sort of times does everyone else stick to?

The fleecy sleepsuit has just arrived (thanks again Sami!). I don't think he's cold at night but will try him in it tonight and see what happens

I BF him at half seven and half nine and he slept soundly inbetween, then took my chance and lifted him out his crib as soon as he cried at half ten to give him a bottle to get his meds into him in time (well, some were 4hrs late!) and he's still off now. Goes down well enough after a feed in the day but not at night.

Just like me and OH really, I suppose. We're night owls.. just not 3am ones! :(

service has just left for the grave. I have never saw my street look quite like that. The TV cameras showed up, which I don't think anyone was happy about, as they are a very private family, but I suppose it is headline news as the 1st soldier to die from swine flu.
    Sorry for the downer.

It is a lovely day though, and I might just take my precious kids to the park later
Hope you all have a nice day :)
