I'm going to try and take her up to bed and give her her bottle. I'll take the lappy up with me too, but it may be a while before I'm back on.

I love my DH, he's got me an iPhone! Only because I keep taking his! Have been trying to find a case but can't see any I like.

Well last nights trip to the new local Chinese buffet was a disaster. They had no vegetarian options so I was left with chips, noodles and spring rolls! Shall not be going there again!

We had a family trip to the Trafford centre today and while we were there Daniel had a little accident poop was everywhere and I had forgot to put a spare set of clothes in his changing bag so we had to buy a new outfit. DH said "any excuse":rotfl:

For the past two nights Daniel has gone in his crib awake and has nodded off on his own, I am so proud of him! Although he was at right angles in the crib so have had to adjust him, but he didn't wake up so hopefully I should get anther good nights sleep.

Off to the lakes tomorrow if the weather stays nice:A
ooh another local? where abouts are you (don't worry no need to be specific :))
if you just want a cover to stop it getting scratched I have a red leather case from M&S £5 for my ipod touch, they do a black or silver one too
Me too sami - I would go for the cow bib - I so love animal print I have found some leopard print boots in Next that Ruby has got to have! ( even tho OH thinks they are tacky??)

  • It is very scary more so for me I think than Beth as she dosnt remember any thing. She wasnt impressed with the EEG or the technician who rearranged her hair! she was still sleepy on the 2nd one so that wasnt too bad. What happened to you after MFD? just a one off and no treatment? Ruby has always been a hot baby even when she was very young I never put a vest on her.

Just a one off for me - I have the pictures to prove that my brain is normal!!! The consultant gave me my MRI Scans because he said that I would keep them forever but the hospital destroys them after 6 years or so...and if it ever happens again then at least they will have some historic pics to compare to.

So no treatment other than a big scare for a while!

MFD: my mum is always having a dig about how I don't wrap up the boys warm enough, she's always trying to but an extra layer on or sticking a blanket over one of them. Now Chris is old enough he's only ever complains to me that he's too hot never cold

Benjamin gets really hot in his car seat so I never put a coat on him just a blanket over him.

In fact, when we went to the BF picnic I had to grab the cardigan that was in the car because I had brought him out in just a t-shirt and it was 0-3 months...did you notice that he was all squeezed in ;)
    I'm a bad mummy :rotfl:

Elle - you never know, he might get it one day...Benjamin used to faff, then he was fine, now he is so nosy that if anyone makes a noise he lets go and turns around to look - cue exposed MFD boobies - HELLO STARBUCKS ;)

I bought 'Solve your Childs sleep problems' by Dr Richard Ferber
That book is amazing !! He explains things really well that fit in with her exactly !! The book is for all ages of kids from newborns up to teenagers with sleep problems.
Jasmine seems to have what he calls a late sleep phase, so she goes to sleep later than she should and gets up later than she should if allowed to sleep in the pattern she wants to. So I am to allow her to have her own sleep phase for a week and then change t back by 15 mins every week after, but if necessary due to school etc.. move the waking phase all at once so she is technically being sleep deprived and push back sleep time !!
Even just by letting her have her own bed time though has helped loads !! So with any luck we will have her sleeping 8.30pm to 7.30am :)

Sorry that was a very long answer, and you probably didnt really want to know exactly what I was doing, but I don't care :rotfl:

I bought one of those Grobag ones from THAT TKMaxx today too :D I wanted to see what the difference was between the super-expensive Grobag ones and the cheapo ones from Tesco (or wherever). Turns out that the difference is about a foot of extra material!!

The one I bought was 6-18 months ( not much difference in size there then!!) because I thought Benjamin would be too long for the 0-6m ones. It is massive! There is about a foot of extra space at the bottom!

Charlotte's sleeping bag had poppers on it, so when she first started using it, the spare foot of fabric flapped back under her legs and fastened with the poppers. You could stitch press studs or buttons on and fold it so he can use it for now, then let it out when he grows. I can't remember what make it was now, but it was pink gingham and it always looked really fresh!

Football season has kicked off tonight, so I let her stay up for a bit to watch Middlesboro v Sheffield United. She's been learning what goal kicks and corners are :D
Here I go again on my own....

I've heard of it :o I'm not fab with parts of Manc, I only really know the bits I have to go through to get to the traff or centre lol I'm originally from just outside salford but now I'm over the other side of Wigan nearer to Bolton.
I really wanna go the traff because it's been ages but it just seems such a drag if I go in the week with the boys, plus OH wouldn't be amused if I went on yet another spending spree!
