Oh and JM there is always the OU - they are fantastic and highly respected...no driving involved, as you do it all at home:)

uh oh! no injections until he's had his check  why didn't anyone tell me this??
at least nurse said she'll fit him in after our check this aft.

we have to make our own app honey
We just got sent all the apopintments automatically. They did Alice's check with doctor followed by injections with the nurse then I had to go bcak later in the afternoon for my check.

Unfortunately the central system for vaccinations has different length timeslots to our doctors so the times when you just have jabs are completely wrong. For Alice's 12 months one we were waiting over 45 minutes but when we went in I saw on the nurse's screen that the appointment time was different and according to that they were only 5 mins behind so the next time I sent OH to the surgery to find out what time it was and that's how we found out why they are wrong.

The central system also can't cope with single jabs so they sent us a letter saying the single most important things we can do for Alice is give her the MMR (because there are measles outbreaks in the northeast) even though she's had the single measles vaccine.

    (rant over)
I love my isofix base :D it is an absolute joy!! Although I have had some funny looks and somebody actually shouted over to warn me that I hadn't strapped the baby in :rotfl:
:rotfl: We had the isofix base on the Gp0 carseat but we always left it in the car because a) there was little point in lifting her in and out in it when I wasn't going to leave her in the seat after we got out anyway and b) I find it easier to lift a baby than a baby in a carseat (or even a carseat on its own for that matter).

Keira has been managing to poop little bits since yesterday but why oh why does she keep on sharting, there is about 4 pairs of !!!!!! covered trousers now lol.

She managed a little rabbit pebble and it splashed in the toilet, and she started cheering and clapping "IM A BIG GIRL, IM 3YEARS OLD, YEYYYY" Isn't their enthusiasm great? LOL. Dunno how she will learn to wipe her butt if it keeps ending up in the state it's in, dear god!

    Yes :D
But on a low income you can get the course fees paid and a grant to help pay for materials:)

Doh, so much for her taking to the toilet. I went for a pee and came back and just smelled it right away, she'd had a poo in her pants. She said it came out quick, I'll let her off.......THIS TIME! Teehee. Good job I have about 200 pairs of knickers.
