These are some pics from today, I should of put red eye thingy on my phone:rolleyes:

In one of the pics one of her eyes looks funny and I was getting paranoid it was a sign of a tumour behind her eye, you know how one eye always looks different? Is it bad I just woke her up and took pictures of her eyes to make sure they both appeared normal? God I'm a terrible mother.

I wish I had never cut her hair, it used to be quite long, then I naffed it up and gave her a techno fringe, so had to take her to the hairdressers, and they put loads of layers in it  so it's a nightmare to style unless you blow dry it and she freaks out with that. Doesn't help she has cut a few chunks out of it too. Once it grows long enough, I think I'll get it cut into a shoulder length bob or something, those layers just go curly, she has inherited my hair, bless her. She has an aversion to hair bobbles too!

The last 2 pics are my fave!

Bruno - I thought I'd quoted you but I didn't  Elijah looks like you especially with a beard of choc :rotfl:the cake looks yummy did Mrs Bruno make it?

Ha, maybe a bit like me ;p here he is in the hammock in the garden with a friend - http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/photo.php?pid=8224321&id=678835340&comments

he complained very loudly when the cake ran out too... Mrs Bruno did indeed make it and it was her best ever, although I did a lovely whipped cream and raspberries filling for it :) also a lot of home-made salsa, garlic lime and chili prawn skewers, and a bunch of vegetable, halloumi or steak skewers. Lots of burgers too, and barbecue drumsticks, and we never even got to the sausages in the end! 18 sausages waiting to be eaten still

Gah, I'm shattered.. Rhys woke up every hour between one and five :( I wish I could remember what I did at 5am to settle him! Finally this morning he woke up, drank his bottle and has now passed out on the sofa next to me - argh! Not only is he hogging half the sofa, but he's on his front so I don't want to leave him like that and fall asleep myself, or move him and risk waking him up..

Ladies and Bruno... I have a very cheeky request to make...

As some of you might recall I have a friend (in fact my maid of honour!) who is currently stationed in Afghanistan as part of the British presence there. She's not part fo the fighting troops per say, but is there to try and improve the relations between the locals and the UK forces and her task has been building schools and hospitals and helping the women in particular...
They've built basic hospitals, they've built schools etc but the local women are struggling for a lot of things for obvious reasons...

So she's got about 6 weeks left of her tour and she's given up on the official channels including the big charities to get some help out there for things that are not classed as "vital" for the locals...

She's asked me to send every thing I can and to ask if anyone could help too...

    This is what they need:
baby clothes - used is absolutely fine, ideally without angels on or anything that could be seen as "heathen" to them. The women are more open minded but obviously there are still some extreemists out there :( At least a lot of women realise that keeping their baby warm is more important than anything!
Adult clothes - simple things - if you HAVE any maternity clothes that you don't think are worth Ebaying then these would be perfect, ditto breast feeding tops etc.

If you think you could help please PM me... I will let you have her direct address out there and the best thing is that so long as your parcel under 2kg it's FREE to post it out there as it's front line troops BFOP so Royal mail carry it for free to the army who then ship it out :) And even better... so long as the parcels are under 2 kg you can send as many as you like!

Other things if you have them spare is nappies, terry cloths, wipes... well anything baby based!
If you feel like sending anything else then you're more than welcome but try to avoid anything that will melt (like chocolate sadly!) nothing like fizzy drinks and definitely no alcohol!

I'm going to post this on the charity boards too but I thought I'd ask you nice ladies and Bruno here first :)
It doesn't have to be new things, so long as it's not falling apart or really stained then it would be very welcome!

    Thank you :)

That's a lovely cause Mrs Tine. I've still got a mountain of Johnsons baby stuff from the Tesco promotion ages ago. I can send a box of stuff out if you PM me her address.

Would it be ok to copy the post onto my husbands board? It's mainly all male Sunderland supporters, but they may be able to help.
Here I go again on my own....

Hi Becles - I'll PM you her address in a sec - just don't post it on the boards :)

All the freebies etc would be great too! Especially if you're not going to use them yourself! I've been siphoning all my various free samples out there to her gradually (apart from my sudocrem and bepanthen samples LOL)

    Thanks ladies! It's much appreciated!

Morning ladies - not caught up yet so apologies.

Well I had a go at expressing last night - my boob felt quite firm but I only managed 1.5 oz :( I've put it in a milk bag and hopefully I can add to it later

Will have to post again later - baby being really fidgety!
