Mrst can't manage a link but the cup holder thing is Item number: 380090519705
I'm gonna sell my ring sling I just can't make it work for us. I love that randomness of buying from china on eBay but I'm more careful now after having my paypal hacked suspisiously close in time to a dispute over damaged goods, which due to stupid paypal left me £5 out of pocket because the exchange rate had changed!!
as an aside zorbit muslins are not made in Europe any more, now it's china and they are much poorer quality! Such a shame as the Europe factory was a family business run by a lovely lady0 -
Sami I am seriously wondering about listing mine too... my ring sling thingy I mean... i can't get Alex to sit/lie/not scream in it but I have no idea if she'll ever grow out of that
then again by the time she does she'd probably be too heavy for me to carry her like that anyway as my back is !!!!!!ed anyway
Might as well list it...

Have you checked if you can get a cheaper rate somewhere? They actually DROPPED my DD from £61 monthly to £41 and gave me nearly £100 refund last month LOL

Morning all..
We've just had a massive hailstone shower - it's July, FGS!
We're still not dressed here, having a lazy day. Rhys has been BF again but it was more to keep him quiet while I was waiting for his bottles to sterilise!Having a bit of trouble getting him latched on, well, getting his mouth in the right place.. He's taken to bouncing around, sucking randomly wherever his mouth lands until he gets it right. Was easier when he was little (okay, littler!) as his neck wasn't so strong but now if I try to guide him he can duck out of the way!
He's now zonked out, sleeping right through the builders knocking out part of a wallNurse is coming at half three to do jab. Other than that, it's housework for me, methinks

Strangely (!) our best presents were from MIL and FIL who gave DH a cheque for £400 while I was pregnant, to help us with set up costs, and from my uncle, who gave my mum £50 and said to get anything we were short of. Those were great because Fergus is still a cash neutral baby!It also meant I could buy a tens machine for labour. :T
This made me laugh!! What a very Weezl-esque statement
The food is trickiest. They're going to transport our stuff from carpark to cottage by golfcart, so I'm insistent that the food is packaged up well not just in sprawly carrier bags. DH thinks this is daft. What do you guys reckon?
I think I would be a bit like you...boxes, Coolbox and coolbag are usually the way forward for me. Handy hint - use a shoebox for all your condiments etc.
MFD, I thought benjamin was actually eating the brocolli and stuff on his antilop! Feel more reassured now about my uninterested baby. He also shows absolutely no inclination to roll . All of yours seem to have been doing this for ages :rotfl:
We let him have a go at eating brocolli and carrot - cooked and cut into big chips so he can hold them (at least that is the theory if he wasn't such a lazy/crafty little so-and-so) but at this stage he is not really taking any of it...more tasting. We are loving the relaxed-ness of it...if he wants to eat it he can but if he doesn't that is fine too! He does LOVE sucking on a chunk of apple though
Benjamin rolls back to front all the time...makes nappy changes and nap times a nightmare  especially because he seems to have conveniently forgotten how to roll front to back which is much easier!! He rolls then shouts for me to come and put him back onto his back!!redmel1621 wrote: »Weezl - Don't worry Kai has no inclination to roll over yet either, and there is no way I am giving him anything other than mushy food....I spent more time than I would have liked, sticking my fingers down ds2's throat to scoop out food he was choking on...I don't care if I still have to liquidise food when this child is ten - I do not like the feel of tonsils!!!!
Don't they say the ones that take longer to roll walk quicker??
For anyone who is interested in BLW don't let the thought of choking put you off. The THEORY is that if a baby can put it in their own mouth then they can't (shouldn't) choke on it.
We don't put any food into Benjamins mouth...although I keep having to stop hubby from putting it into his hand - baby needs to be able to pick it up and put it in their own mouth (they can't do this with small things like grapes until MUCH later).
Bruno - that video was fab :T I love weddings that are a fun celebration of the couple rather than a load of pomp and circumstance!! Our 'Exit Music' was Bette Middler singing Slow Boat to China' when we got married (we were all getting onto a barge!!)
Although my hormones are shot - I cried!!!
MacSmiler - Benjamin loves his highchair but as above, food is only an experiment at the momentHis favourite thing is to have a load of Fisherprice Rollarounds on the tray and whack them as hard as he can in all directions :rotfl:

Did I miss Midsomer Murders last night:eek:Have you ever had problems with e-Bay things from China? My brother had problems when he bought something from China on e-Bay. It didn't arrive so he put in a dispute on Paypal. They then posted it and entered a tracking number so his dispute was rejected. When it turned up it wasn't as described (was meant to be a goretex coat or something) but Paypal wouldn't allow him to enter another dispute. (I think he may have got the money back from the credit card firm in the end but it was a lot of hassle.)
I'm trying to boycott China at the moment but it's very difficult as everything seems to be made in China.
I had one thing that didn't turn up, but that was in a phase where we were having problems with parcel deliveries full stop - it was one of about 4 things that didn't turn up that were coming from the UK, so I didn't put that down to being China. We order quite a few things from China/Hong Kong. I figure that we might as well get it direct from the factory there, then at least they get more money than if we spent 6 times as much and bought things here! (If that makes any difference to the people who actualy MAKE the stuff rather than the big man behind the desk is another matter.)ladybird i was told to watch for the ring slings and make sure that the ring is a complete circle and not welded in anyway as they are not as strong? have never bought anything from china as im too impatiant to wait lol!
Ta, I will check that out when it turns up

I wanted to ask about Bouncy Chairs...I stupidly read the back of Benjamins yesterday and it says that it shouldn't be used once the child can sit unaided.
Benjamin is sitting now...although not usually for longer than a minute and only usually when I amuse him with something (although he wants to sit up all the time).
He loves his bouncer...it keeps him occupied for ages playing with the teddies so I love it too. I have got no hope of keeping up with you guys when he has to stop using it
So - when do you stop a child sitting in a bouncy chair?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
