Wish I could have one.. blooming Tesco and their ID policy :(

For the record, I'm 25.. not that the Tesco man believed me! :o

I wish someone would ID me! (Apart from the slimey old man in the corner shop who always says 'are you 18' in a smarmy, creepy way!)

 When I'm out with LO we are very british and excuse ourselves to the 'ladies' but the other mum stalk about poos, wees and all sorts. One mum even told me all about her little boys erections last week. Em, I'm not intersted and find it all a bit gross thank you very much! Some things are best left not shared.....(gosh now I fele old saying that!):p

    How posh are you!
My DD1 is currently telling anyone who'll listen that DS has grown a couple of hairs on his widgy! TMI! I really must tell him to stop going for a wee when she's in the bath.
Hmmm, do you think Chris is going to become incredibly fit with a perfect 6 pack and wait on me hand and foot, never complaining about anything and making sure that I have multiple organisms each and every day I want them ??????????????? :p:rolleyes::D
Those would be changes I would be happy to see :rotfl:

What?, you mean is isn't already?

Girls (and bruno) HELP! - fergie grew a tooth today and I can't feel any more coming but he's woken up crying a few times since bedtime (pretty unheard of here, please don't shoot me). Does toothy pain continue after the tooth has come through? DH is away and it's a bit weird not having a grown up here to chat it through with!

I'm just using teeting gel at the mo, shall I give a drop of calpol too at the dream feed at 10?

    TIA :)

IME, yes. Jamie cut his top two on Sunday and he is still a bit grumpy and red cheeked today.

I use A&P powders and gave him Calpol before bed.

I think the pain can continue - as the tooth forces its way further out, there's still more pressure on the gums during that.

If it was me I'd give him some Calpol before sleeping if he is at all grinchy. It really doesn't do harm giving it out occasionally, and I feel awful when they have a miserable night's broken sleep because of pain! As long as you don't end up giving it to him most nights!

Because now I have to pick between two months' "labels", and they're confusing already! :D
  • Hello and welcome, Scrummy Mummy and Buttonmoons (I must be very old as I think of Button Moon when I read your name! :o:rotfl:).

SeptemberBaby - aged 35, married 7 years next month (itches anyone?!), met DH 11 years ago , had fabulous teenage/twenties, met some wonderful lifelong friends and seen quite alot of the world.

Wouldn't change my life for anything especially when Poppy says 'Love you, Mummy' :D.

    xx

Aw YOU - making me well up AGAIN!!!
    :grinheart

Benjamin got all excited when he could hear me on the phone earlier - kicked both his shoes off and poked his daddy in the eye! Does that count? :D
Oooh, I haven't had anything from Bizzie at all (this month! :p:D).

I'm currently testing for another company but is top secret :shhh:.

    xx

Tell only me SB...I haven't had anything yet

(see how I turn on the tears at the drop of a hat ;))

Messy is almost the whole definition!

Sue, my rashly saying that obviously meant that when I got home tonight, all kinds of stress and because the phone rang while I was putting him down for the night and he therefore started awake and cried, OH felt he was ungrateful bstard who should learn some respect etc etc... we had a little talk about whether she was depressed, what was wrong and so on but mostly she bit my head off so I am letting her have me-time now :(

Is it wrong to give Bruno ((HUGS))? Maybe a manly slap on the back is more in order??
To make you laugh - I was once on site chairing a dispute resolution meeting...normally as a woman I can handle these meetings quite well because the blokes tend to behave themselves around me (although after my previous visit there had been fisticuffs between 2 of the foremen in the corridor )
    anyway - I digress
things got a little stressed in the meeting and I could feel tensions rising...all of a sudden I felt completely out of my depth and all sensible recourse left me...so I said 'I am struggling with where we go from here gents - I feel like I should suggest a group hug or something' :o
Cue lots of laughter from the burly construction blokes, the tension was broken, I found my brain and was able to suggest a sensible way forward. I still get teased about it now about 4 years later :rotfl:

And what I'm up to is...

Sounds stressful Bruno...hopefully it should all sort itself out in the next day or two.

35 in a few weeks here; OH is younger though, 28. Although I MAY know some Meatloaf lyrics it doesn't make me happy and I pretend not to. Led Zeppelin, or the Police, I will own to.

I used to do a cover of So Lonely when I was in a band

Very awesome! Seriously it's been such an inspiring happy story Elle, I know you know that, but your attitude, prose and descriptions of progress have just been amazing to read. Even OH got a bit teary and she's never read any of it, just had updates from me :)

My hubby asks about the early baby too :D

We have just been laughing at the varying pregnant states of Sarah Beeny - I swear that woman must have about a dozen kids :D
