Its my 5th Wedding anniversary in October! Can't believe it. Has it been long enough to get a decent gift yet?

 I find getting jiggy is messy, but I'll say no more because there is already WAY TMI in this thread for my embarrassment levels!

If she's only irrational in the middle of the night, you have NOTHING to complain about. :rotfl:

I'm intrigued, what ARE you up to?

Messy is almost the whole definition!

Sue, my rashly saying that obviously meant that when I got home tonight, all kinds of stress and because the phone rang while I was putting him down for the night and he therefore started awake and cried, OH felt he was ungrateful bstard who should learn some respect etc etc... we had a little talk about whether she was depressed, what was wrong and so on but mostly she bit my head off so I am letting her have me-time now :(

And what I'm up to is, <edited to protect the guilty>
Don't worry Scrummy, some of us are near enough your age and MFD is always making reference to old stuff which the young 'uns don't get, last time it was the words to a meatloaf song if I'm not mistaken.

35 in a few weeks here; OH is younger though, 28. Although I MAY know some Meatloaf lyrics it doesn't make me happy and I pretend not to. Led Zeppelin, or the Police, I will own to.

Woohoo, just got Rhys' blood test results. His Hb levels are back up to normal and kidney functions are coming down to much nearer normal :D Consultant is really pleased with him. Hopefully we can stop the jabs soon :)

More blood tests on 10th then a trip to Notts on 13th - can't wait for them to see the difference in him! :j

Very awesome! Seriously it's been such an inspiring happy story Elle, I know you know that, but your attitude, prose and descriptions of progress have just been amazing to read. Even OH got a bit teary and she's never read any of it, just had updates from me :)

Feelie even if Toby did fall sleep in his Bumbo it would do him no harm coz you could just move him out of it.

    Really???!!!!

    Sami is a young mummy!!

Clearly either I am wearing well

You must be, well, I didn't notice any scars from surgery. :rotfl:

MFD, Susan, r.mac et al look away now... I'm getting a nursing vest same as Caz :D

    Thats so unfair.
The Bumbo is upstairs, don't like putting him in it if there is a chance he might fall asleep! He is a great sleeper, when he is tired he'll just drop off and I'm worried I'll come back from cleaning the toilet and he'll be all leaning forward asleep!

Downstairs he tends to be in his bouncy chair or on the playmat. I hate going up stairs so don't like lugging the bouncy chair up.

I suppose I need to think about when he is moving around - the house is not at all childproof (lots of wires, computer bits on the floor, huge telly on a low table, patio doors and delicate glass door).

Have you got a freecycle - to look out for a spare bouncy chair you could keep upstairs? We don't have that problem - she doesn't like daytime sleeping.

And we definately need to childproof - I currently have a hedge trimmer on my dining table.

I've just had to make shussing noises for 40 minutes to get her off to sleep - it's made me really thirsty! I suppose i'll have to have a nice cold glass of pink wine now to make it better! :D

Sami, my colleague used to often row with her hubby and he frequently used to go away for work. If they'd had a row and she'd not asked where he was going, it was always known as "Wales".. as in "Where's your DH tonight?", "Dunno, Wales?" ;)
If anyone or their hubby are actually visiting Wales, I do hope you'll come say hi and have a cuppa. I'll even find a jaffa cake :)

Weezl Have you been up to your making antics again, no pics from you for a few days???

    maybe :o

It's cot bumpers, I'm busy with, as helpfully guided by ladybird and sami :) Fergus is really too long for the moses basket inside cot trick now, but does huge leg thwacks into the sides and ends of the cot when just in it without the MB to protect him! The materials and foam did cost quite a bit, so I hope it's not a false economy to make them.

Thanks for asking scruffy :) hope your dad is as ok as he can be under the circs...

Hello lovely newbies, scrummy and button. I am weezl, 35 and have a 4 and a half month old son who I never thought I'd have. I'm loving this mummy lark :)

PS I made that sound like I had massive fertility issues then, sorry- I was actually just really scared of changing my life (and of labour :rotfl:)

Good luck for tomorrow sounds horribly stressful but also like it will be worth it in the end.

I think Cardiff is a bit too far away from Llandudno, Weezl! I'm off there on Sunday.
