:rotfl: Just given Chris the fone to speak to OH and after OH said hello Chris said "oh it's grandma" :rotfl:
    :rotfl:

Alice answered the phone at the same time as OH (but on a different handset) when we were on holiday. I had a little talk with her about not answering the phone. I often get Alice to complete a sentence for me to check that she's been listening so I said, "Alice mustn't answer the..."
    To which she replied, "question."

We also have conversations which go:
Me: Alice mustn't do x. Should Alice do x?
Alice: Yes. (In a very cute voice.)
Me: No, Alice mustn't do x. Should Alice do x?
Alice: Yes. (In a very cute voice.)
Me: Noooooooooooooooo, Alice mustn't do x. Should Alice do x?
Alice: Yes. (In a very cute voice.)
Me: [bangs head against brick wall]

I'm old too - 34 next week

I did the baby thing in my 20's and now I'm doing it all again in my 30's. Must be mad :D

Got 2 boys aged 12, 10 and a little girl aged 2. Next September will be wierd as the middle one will be starting secondary school and the youngest will be starting nursery.

At least you have helping hands ;)

Scarlet does love to try and help, but as she's clumsy like her mother, there isn't much hope really, i'm surprised that James still has all his limbs intact ;)

Both kids in bed and DH is cooking dinner. How good does that feel?? Times were i'd need a fair few champagne cocktails and a few Malboros's before i felt this chuffed with myself :D

When I answer the phone, DD always wants to talk, one time it was some telesales rubbish, so I gave the phone to DD

Her side of the convo went like this:

    Keira - I'm getting BEN 10 SKAPES!

Keira - My cat is fat.

Keira - Wheres my Grandma AHARA? (zahara)

    Keira - BYEEEEE (throws phone)

I'm just patiently waiting for my Tesco shop right now, picked this slot as it's the cheapest. Might even cook OH dinner if it comes before 9......hehehe.

DD sneakily went and put a pullup on earlier and had a poop in it, I smelled it before I saw her and I said "I thought you were going to be a big girl and poop in the toilet?" she said "I am mummy, but it's stinky pebbles".....It was pebble'esque, so I guess she wins that argument....

I seem to walk around with the bumbo!

The Bumbo is upstairs, don't like putting him in it if there is a chance he might fall asleep! He is a great sleeper, when he is tired he'll just drop off and I'm worried I'll come back from cleaning the toilet and he'll be all leaning forward asleep!

Downstairs he tends to be in his bouncy chair or on the playmat. I hate going up stairs so don't like lugging the bouncy chair up.

I suppose I need to think about when he is moving around - the house is not at all childproof (lots of wires, computer bits on the floor, huge telly on a low table, patio doors and delicate glass door).

Alice sometimes waves her finger and shouts, "No no no no no no no." complete with wagging finger when she's been disobedient and I ask her what I'd said to her. It's quite funny as I don't even do that. I have no idea where she got it from.

Hello and welcome, Scrummy Mummy and Buttonmoons (I must be very old as I think of Button Moon when I read your name! :o:rotfl:).

SeptemberBaby - aged 35, married 7 years next month (itches anyone?!), met DH 11 years ago , had fabulous teenage/twenties, met some wonderful lifelong friends and seen quite alot of the world.

Wouldn't change my life for anything especially when Poppy says 'Love you, Mummy' :D.

Can't get it up on Kiddicare, the banner link for the special offer takes me to parasols. Have found the Buzz 3 at £199. Takes soo long to search with attatched baby, how did I forget!!!

Does Kiddecare just not turn you on!!!

Elle Well done Rhys, sounds like hes coming on in leaps and bounds. I love seeing your pics of him. To see what he was to where hes got to now is amazing.

Weezl Have you been up to your making antics again, no pics from you for a few days???

Button where bout in Aberdeen are you?

Well I have a funny story, well I think it's funny even under the circumstances of these patients (for the newbies my dads in hospital) The guy in the next bed to my dad jumped in beside him at 2.30am this morning!!! My dad was out for the count but woke and said to the guy "get to f**k go on f**k off", my dad hardly ever swears. He then buzzed for the nurses and the guy explained he thought my dad was in his house robbing him!!!! Why he got in bed with a robber I don't know.
