Talking of age, i'm 36 and am feeling thoroughly ancient compared to some of you young 'uns, ah well, i had a very mispent 20's, that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it:D

I'm old too - 34 next week

I did the baby thing in my 20's and now I'm doing it all again in my 30's. Must be mad :D

Got 2 boys aged 12, 10 and a little girl aged 2. Next September will be wierd as the middle one will be starting secondary school and the youngest will be starting nursery.
Here I go again on my own....

I' m off to play with the stacking cups we bought earlier :D
Stacking cups are great - Alice has three sets (all presents): one for the bath, one in our room and one in the living room. They are amazingly versatile and she loves them. (My 20 something brothers also like to play with them when they visit.)

I'm feeling left out - I'm 29 so not "old" and not "young". I think I'm suffering from middle-mummy syndrome.

Woohoo, just got Rhys' blood test results. His Hb levels are back up to normal and kidney functions are coming down to much nearer normal :D Consultant is really pleased with him. Hopefully we can stop the jabs soon :)

More blood tests on 10th then a trip to Notts on 13th - can't wait for them to see the difference in him! :j

For the record, my middle child seems remarkably well-adjusted, so please don't think you MUST all keep having more babies to avoid a syndrome! Surely there are also 'eldest child', 'youngest child', and 'one of far too many children' syndromes?

DD1 actually likes her middle child status - as it means she has a big brother and a little sister, while DS only has 2 little sisters, and DD2 has a big brother & sister!
She would like a big sister - but theres not a lot I can do about that! And a little brother - but only if its Samis Christopher. :D

OH says that if we tried for no. 4, sod's law says it'd be twins so then we'd have to get a no.6.

    I'm not a young 'un...and I also had a very misspent 20's....and early 30's ;):D

    Gosh! I thought you were mid 20's - I am shocked! :eek::D

Ladybird - Violet rolled off the bed a couple of weeks ago, onto the pile of clothes OH leaves on the floor at his side of the bed! Now he thinks he's doing us all a favour leaving them there.

Welcome new ladies - young & old! :rotfl:

I need somewhere to put LO when I'm upstairs. I just stick him on the bath mat.

    Exhausting isn't it?? ;)

Ahh. Less interesting than it sounds really. Am such a nerd. Spent my 20's as a freelance IT consultant, worked all round Europe. Visited lots of cocktail bars, fancy restaurants and expensive hotels and buying such things that those who have more money than sense, do. Met my first husband, who turned out to be a complete twit. Ran off to Italy to work and met my second husband who thankfully was less of a twit so came home, put down roots and had babies. Now the closest i get to a cocktail bar is mixing up my sons bottles, Tom Cruise ain't got nuffin' on me in the bottle shaking stakes ;)

(am now groaning inwardly as expect many of you are too young to know what i'm going on about and only know Tom Cruise as aging vain hollywood star with young starlet wife)

If MY life had gone according to my plan...my kids would be leaving home by now ;)
Don't worry us young 'uns are pretty cool, we know stuff that we supposedly shouldn't ;)
i only remember tom cruise from cocktail and top gun ... the last good film he did was interview with a vampire although he looks very girlie in it :D x
he was in IWAV??!! I didn't notice :rotfl: too busy staring at Brad ;)
I don't get how anyone ever fancied Tom he's funny looking and worst of all he's short!! :p In my world a man under 6 foot ain't worth a 2nd look (sorry anyone one with a short hubby)
Don't worry Scrummy, some of us are near enough your age and MFD is always making reference to old stuff which the young 'uns don't get, last time it was the words to a meatloaf song if I'm not mistaken.

Feelie, I don't know about hiding your arms when swimming, I assume you mean you need someting long sleeved and I can't think of anything, our local pool won't even let you wear a t shirt, so you might have to ring and check, Or (and this might be a genius idea,) go in your pyjamas and take a brick too and say you are doing your lifesaving!
