MFD, how did your day at work go?
Sami, my colleague used to often row with her hubby and he frequently used to go away for work. If they'd had a row and she'd not asked where he was going, it was always known as "Wales".. as in "Where's your DH tonight?", "Dunno, Wales?"
Rhys has been randomly waking up, roaring, then slamming his head back on my chest and sleeping again.. Been going on for hours! Thankfully, Daddy came home and they're both now asleep on the sofa (don't worry, am keeping an eye on them).0 -

Still can't get it into his head that I'm not interested at the moment, and even if I was I wouldn't be at that time of the morning anyway. Need to sit him down and have another chat at a "neutral" time and remind him again that 6 months ago I tore in all directions AND THEY HAD TO STITCH MY CLIT BACK TOGETHE, so I am a) all covered in scar tissue and b) still rather traumatised. We only discussed it about 2 weeks ago, but I obviously [STRIKE]he didn't listen[/STRIKE]I didn't explain myself very well
. And him keep pestering me and getting arsey with me when I'm not interested, is really not helping.
And this is not to put pressure on you, BUT, if ever there was a time for kissing and cuddling without going 'all the way', then surely this is it.
So, are there things he can do for you which don't go anywhere near your stitches? And can you do anything for him in return?ladybirdintheuk wrote: »I thought I had, but obviously either I didn't make it clear enough, or it didn't go in. (Or he is aware he is being insesnative and doesn't care, but I don't think it is that!)
I mean, we all know that most men are thinking about it all the time.
Anyway, I write as one who has sometimes found sex to be yet another thing I'm expected to do for someone else, although DH was wanting to demonstrate that it would be nice for him to do something for me. If that makes sense.
And, will you promise not to hit me if I ask, gently, if you need to go and talk to someone about the trauma? If not yet, then soon ...
Now, they sent me home from work because I had a headache and a 5 minute sneezy fit, and now DS1 wants to know what I'm doing on the computer if I've got a headache? Should he be worried that he's sounding like his mother? But I'm off to bed for a nap, see, I don't even need the excuse of a baby or disturbed nights! (although DH snores for England!)Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

nope - I haven't had anything either...they must be waiting to send us extra-special things to test
Why don't you just swap 'em for the next size? I did in tesco no receipt and no problem
I did this aswell - told them my husband had been 'helpful' and bought the wrong size - they happily swapped them for mer.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Although, I'm still convinced that we overwash these kids, and using shampoo / bubble bath / showergel can definitely aggravate eczema. Just wetting their hair may be enough to get the baked beans out on a day to day basis.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

They used to work for Annabel and now we need a full dose to make a difference - she's very cute though and opens her mouth when she sees me get them out. Thanks for the anbesol recommendation - got some today.

just picking up the water and bath products comments - I have only used water since birth but LO does have dry skin. Dr said that there is a fine line between baby eczema and dry skin and she seemed to be not too bad, but recommended we try oilatum - what a difference! I would recommend it to others although with it's hefty price tag get it on the NHS minor ailments scheme for free.
I' m off to play with the stacking cups we bought earlierr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0
