Weezl I don't think she can have over woggled it, it only started being wobbly yesterday morning and it came out at about 7 last night, she said she'd pulled it out but she can't have pulled very hard or woggled it that much she's very squeamish! In fact we had tears yesterday morning when she discovered it was wobbly

She came running downstairs and into our room this morning at ten to six to say that she had been but she thought it was a £1 and was completely thrilled so i think we'll go down to £1 next time, I just wanted her to have enough to buy a little bit of something seeing as its her first one. She's back in bed now!

Mil (or milmo or milsh ) is short for Millicent, in fact its Millicent Elizabeth because I wanted her to have a lot of choice for grown up names cos Millie is a bit little girl but you can get allsorts of lovely names out of Elizabeth if you need to, (cos my name is a bit odd I used to use my middle name on the phone somewhere I used to work so maybe I overthought that one!)

weezl - a very worthwhile project indeed :) I might ask my friend who's out in Afghanistan if they have similar problems out there - as it's the front lines I shouldn't imagine that the army is getting through regular supplies to the women out there other than the UK ones serving in the forces... :( (I've been sending out parcels of baby clothes as they're short of that - especially in the hospital they helped build :( )

The tooth fairy only paid £1 here.

The boys never asked why they tooth fairy collected teeth, but I was always told the tooth fairy made tiny piano's and needed teeth for keys.

Chicken pox - aqueous cream with calamine is much better to use than calamnine lotion. It's less messy and the cream keeps the skin more moisturised when the spots go crusty. If they are really itchy you can give Piriton syrup, but that may either make them hyper or knock them out!
Here I go again on my own....

Well no "how's your father" last night  - but loads of snuggles and hugs and a long conversation with OH about it... he's still paranoid about hurting me after seeing the damage that was caused during birth as he's not a small chap, bless the poor soul *sigh* I know it was a bit traumatic as he could actually see most of what happened and he did turn very white a few times and actually thought he was going to loose me at one point when the bleeding was out of control... So I can understand his worries bless the poor chap... So we cuddled a lot and did a lot of kissing and talking.
We're going to put the weeble in her own room for a couple of hours one evening this week for some mummy and daddy time and just take it slowly.

    On the up side...

8 1/2 HOURS!!! Alexandra slept from 21:30 till about 6am this morning! Then she had a HUGE feed and has crashed out again and is still sleeping... could this be a sign of things to come? Full nights sleep??? I can hope and dream!!!

Just be thankful now and then if she carries on it's a bonus!
Ryan has been giving me 7 hrs the last few nights, I upped his bottles but it still not working.

As for the tooth fairy, I used to get £1, and that was 15-20 years ago.

maz I'm glad you feel a bit better. So sorry about your scary day yesterday :(

    guess what?!!!

I learnt to make ruffles last night!

I really need to have a girl baby. Ruffles on fergie is just cruel! :)

ps the girl I made the skirt for has chicken pox. Would you guys still take fergie to the party? Lots of people seem to think it's good to have it when they're quite little cos they're not coordinated enough to scratch the heads off the blisters. Sparkle, what do you think after Lexi's experience :)

Weezl, sorry I have only just logged in not ignoring you I promise! :D
In all honesty I found Joshua who had them two weeks before Lexi and is 6 years old harder to deal with than I did Lexi. Joshua had far more spots and was alot itchier, it seemed I was patting and rubbing him for hours on end to help him out! Lexi was very cranky for two days before the spots came out but once they did she was like a different baby. I had to resort to scratch mits one evening as she was swiping at her head like no mans business but other than that she was fine! All of her spots have pretty much gone after just over a week and we have no tell tale signs of any that may scar. Joshua on the other hand has still got some as I think he has scratched the tops off......but then I can explain to Joshua why he's feeling poorly and cant with Lexi - swings and roundabouts really. I think I would have still gone to the party :o Its something that as a child they are going to pick up anyway.....But everyone has their own ideas on things like that.
Sorry doesnt help much but those are my experiences and thoughts.

Am I a bad mother??? I have just registered Alexandra to be a baby model  don't know if we'll be exccepted ofcourse but i thought it might be quite fun and something to put in a savings account for her :) (not her trust fundy thingy started with the £250 the government sent... I don't like the idea of letting an 18 year old suddenly have control of a rather substancial amount of money - what if she's turned into a spendaholic!!! I'd rather it was in an account we control and if she's going to uni then it could help pay her fees etc :)
