Weezl - do you know anything about how the body changes back after pregnancy? Somebody told me that this can take up to 9 months the other day?
The reason I ask is because a few times recently I have woken up with pains in my ribs. Last night I had to get out of bed because I was in absolute agony.
Is it possible that my ribcage is only just moving back into position? Benjamin is 19 weeks.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

- you need to call yoru doc or HV - you naughty lady you should know better
After all any pain that is normal for one person might not be for another

I wasn't asking in a medical advice kind of way honest miss!!!
It's only in the night so I might mention it when I see the HV on Wednesday but I don't think it is doctor-visit-worthy!
The only other thing that it could be is my bra :rotfl:please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Morning all!
Sound of smashing glass coming from the front of the house.. Oh good, the builders are here then! Builder has brought his son with him - usually drafted in for demolition projects, such as ripping out my bathroom, kitchen and fireplace thus farThere are two doors on our living room - from one side there's banging and crashing, from the other there's the washing machine on extra spin and yet Rhys is still zonked out on the sofa next to me, completely obilivous!
Am pausing for a breakfast of tea and homemade scones then I'm getting on with the housework. Got the nurse coming at 2pm to do blood tests on Rhys - not looking forward to that one, he'll scream the house down! Good job the nurses come in cars with NHS on the side otherwise the neighbours would be calling them out with the noise he'll make!
Sad news - Rhys is growing out of my fav sleepsuit (the one we gyspy'ed from the hospital)and
Hope everyone is feeling a bit brighter today - hugs all round!xxx

Weezl Id say pack calpol, scratch mits or socks just incase for night time, I had a cream instead of calamine lotion ....will be back to tell you what it was called. Oh and plenty of talc after Lexi bath seemed to soothe her a little
Mrs Tine hope you do well with your freelance work and get the whole year off I really do.
AM Hope things are going well with your OH. At the end of the day you can only try and to me it seems as if you really want it to work so good luck with it all. Its so easy for anyone to comment on other peoples relationships but its different when its your own.
Caz you have taken a really big step and I hope you get the help you need! (((Hugs)))
Haha after saying I will post pictures of OH's tattoo I cant find that one... I have a folder of our tattoos and that one isnt in it!Most of the folder is of our matching one!
I will take one later though and post it as it is gorgeous, but then I am biased.
Well we had a busy weekend, was my not so little little brothers 18th on Saturday so we had a big barbeque and party which was fun...Cue hangover on Sunday so we had to go out for a meal as I 'couldnt' cook!We went to an American type diner in Speke called Damons - Its lovely in there but somehow managed to order wine....
Lexi is now a fully fledged 'roller' for a week now she has been rolling from front to back and back to front! :T She is alos sat on my knee and keeps batting at the keboard and turning round and laughing at me! Has taken me ages to read and type this! :rotfl:

mfd I bought a vinyl tablecloth thingie in shaws the draper for £1.25, but if you haven't got one of those then dunelm does wipe clean stuff by the metre in some nice patterns. One is a bit Cath Kidston. Ooooooh r.mac, you might like that one!
that sounds lovely - I have some spotty stuff from John Lewis and love it - although fruity porridge turns to cement!!!!Those of you who've BFed and then weaned the baby off, did you go to bottles (of cow's milk or etc), or straight to cups? At what ages?
.
bruno - my LO was mixed fed from 3 weeks onwards and now we are fully ff at 6months. I give her a sippy cup (free flowing no sucking really needed) at every meal with water in it and she's got the idea after a couple of weeks. Ideally I'd like to get rid of the milk bottles and substitute them with cups when she's mastered things more - but I'm happy to keep a bedtime bottle.r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

I hope your Millie and my Benjamin never swap tooth fairy stories
TWO POUNDS *wanders off mumbling*
I would say 50p tops
I think I gave both of mine £1.50 for the first tooth, they both get £1 for every other tooth:)
I am feeling a bit better today, still slightly weak and headachey, and i've still got a bad sore throat, but managed a shower and hairdo today:p Thankfully Kai only woke up half a million times last night, as opposed to the million the night before:rolleyes:
