What i want to kow is why does she pay? Mil is bound to ask me tomorrow why she wants teeth so much that she pays for them.

I read that as Mother In law I wondered why she would be asking such a question but I then realised you were refering to Millie!!

tell her that she needs them so she can give them to other LOs!! Or would that be too strange a concept for a LO to understand!!

Thats too strange a concept for me to understand, creepy!

I often read people complaining about their monsters in law as though they are talking about millie, honestly there was no point calling her millicent.

Lol MFD, I used to get 20p for a tooth, I got double when they were pulled out tho :D I was sooo jealous of my rich kid friends that got £1!!
I thought the tooth fairy just collected teeth- I think I was more interested in decided if I should spend my money on thingies crisps or a 20p mix

had a bad evening of Ed non stop crying, Chris not wanting his bed and me feeling like I'm due a visit from AF and or cystitis

I was surprised not to find in my skim of Wikipedia that the tooth fairy needs them to build a castle of baby teeth, so rotten ones are no use.

That's what I was always told. I am not sure WHY she builds her castle of baby teeth.

I was always told that the tooth fairy uses the teeth to build her castle too. I think I used to get £1 and a little note with a drawing on it of a castle or something fairy like.

    morning all,

i'm not sure if the tooth fairy will visit fergie, cos I think I read that when kids deliberately loosen the baby teeth it can damage the adult tooth.

    hmmmmmmn *thinks*

Maybe she can explain to him that she only pays for ones that haven't been over-woggled?;)

Due to my dad being a recovering alcoholic, our house was booze free, so we used to leave santa a glass of orange juice and a carrot for rudolph. He wrote me a note thanking me once. But I'd already laid my trap to prove he wasn't real: Mwah ha ha ha ha ha :)

hugs for caz and sami :)

AM you sound chirpier, well done chick!;)

M'sM, is millie short for milicent then, or is she registered as Millie? I like both names a lot :) but our surname rhymes with Millie, so it'd have been a very poor choice for a girl :rotfl:

SM, just a quick thought, about your dilemma a little while ago, if you are wondering and take a pg test, remember that you can get a false positive within 8-9 weeks of giving birth cos your levels of HCG are still high from having bubs. Sorry you prob know that but just didn't want you scaring yourself :)

Emlou, welcome back lovely, I missed you :) Grrrrr about OH. If his mum hadn't dalliied on the cot seth wouldn't be struggling to adapt in the first place! (sorry to be opinionated :):o)

This week I'm gonna have to be super organised. We go on hols on sat, with my brother and his new girlfriend, the one I haven't met yet (a recap for those who aren't super attentive to my little details! :)) and I need to buy food for all of us for 9 days and pack everything for us and fergie and fit it into a 1 litre corsa :o

Anyone want to bet I'll be on here asking where I can get a cheap top-box?!

Actually, I'm hoping that DB and the NGF might have space for at least the food :D

We did deliberately expose fergie to the pox on saturday, so will watch for symptoms from 5th Aug, which is when we're still away..... So, sparkle, just in case, what should I pack? I've written calamine lotion and calpol. Anything else? Will there be fabrics he should avoid that make the itching worse? TIA :)

Mrs Tine, so happy that the full year might be do-able- hoorah! how much would a hefty overpay like that change your DFD by?
